..and the Net Spend Cup!But they won the prestigious league cup.
..and the Net Spend Cup!But they won the prestigious league cup.
Isnt Reina also nailed on for the golden gloves?..and the Net Spend Cup!
I'd prefer the 4th spot. Not necessarily because of the Champions League but mainly because the league position after 38 games is always a genuine indicator for how good and consistent a squad really is; unlike cup competitions where even APOEL made it to the quarter finals of the Champions League and Manchester United and Manchester City haven't, the league table reflects the quality of a squad much better. Liverpool in their last 17 games have only won 4 and lost 10 games. If the league had started in January, they would get relegated today. And I really don't see how this is going to change next season. Is Carroll going to turn into a professional footballer over night? If I was a Liverpool supporter, a Carling Cup trophy (and eventual FA Cup trophy) couldn't console me over the fact that my team is going into full midtable mode in the medium term.Well i am going to stick my neck out. If I was a Liverpool fan, who has been starved of success. I would take the 2 domestic cups over 4th spot for one season.
I agree, but its not just 1 season. They havent been in the CL for a few years.I think on this site Liverpool are in a no win situation. If they lose obviously we will, all be delighted and If they win we will simply point to their league position and lack of Europe.

We don't even have to check RAWK to know that's true!Any talk of them already being favourites for the Europa League next season? Surely they must be...
The Headhunters have been putting Heysel stickers up all around Wembley, can see it kicking off bigtime today.
FFS why are Chelsea fans such utter spastics
The league certainly was a big big failure. They've spent so much money. The cups are a compensation. Would never prefer them though.I think on this site Liverpool are in a no win situation. If they lose obviously we will, all be delighted and If they win we will simply point to their league position and lack of Europe.

I'm pretty sure Liverpool's chairman at the time blamed Heysel on Chelsea Headhunters and members of the National Front.I don't get that sticker.
Edit: I'm sure it's the minority of Chelsea fans who are pathetic.
Indeed he did.I'm pretty sure Liverpool's chairman at the time blamed Heysel on Chelsea Headhunters and members of the National Front.
They were officially blamed for the events that fateful night. they have as much right to be angry with that as Liverpool do to be upset with the Sun.FFS why are Chelsea fans such utter spastics
Really? They were officially blamed for the events that fateful night. they have as much right to be angry with that the Liverpool do to be upset with the Sun.
The Chairman claimed to have heard southern accents in the stands.Really?
why?
Who was their chairman? what an idiot. The Chairman claimed to have heard southern accents in the stands.
Correct. They were officially blamed for the events that fateful night. they have as much right to be angry with that as Liverpool do to be upset with the Sun.
It's perhaps not the right thing to do, but Chelsea fans do have a right to be angry at the way Liverpool blamed them for Heysel.FFS why are Chelsea fans such utter spastics
Interesting point, did any Liverpool fans die at Heysel?Correct.
Liverpool appallingly blamed Chelsea fans for Heysel... Chelsea have as much right to be angry with Liverpool as the Liverpool fans do to be angry at the misrepresentation of Hillsborough in the Sun.
Liverpool go on and on about how badly they were treated with Hillsborough - but they never mention what they did at Heysel. They almost try to forget it ever happened.
Do they have a remembrance day on the anniversary of the Heysel disaster in the same way they do for Hillsborough? They don't. And they should, because it was their fans who were directly responsible but never took responsibility, and took 20 years to say sorry for it.
We can't discuss it all?Guys I would go easy on the posting about Heysel, its not allowed at the Caf IIRC. And its the wrong thread for it even if it is permitted.
from bbcAbdulMaalik Varvany on Twitter: "I'm a Liverpool fan yet tomorrow's game at Sports Direct Arena, and more so a win for City, seems most important this weekend!"
.
What a pillock, well I hope Liverpool lose and Newcastle win to ruin his weekend.from bbc
Not sure tbh, I thought it was against forum rules? If I am wrong, sorry folks! We can't discuss it all?
Probably lots of unnecessary ones, too.Behave during the game,no matter what happens, most of the Staff are either at the game or in the pub.
I'm at home, full fridge of Belgian beer,so I'll check at H/T F/T and will issue any necessary bans.
A lot of unnecessary ones if it stays like this.http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=293093.0
Probably lots of unnecessary ones, too.
That is the first time Ive ever heard about this, in what possible way could this be true?Correct.

Had to turn off the BBC live text stream, negative comment after negative comment from "Liverpool" fans.
