Just said he'd see out the season with Atletico.

Definitely going to Chelsea in the summer then...

Seems pretty inevitable, the longer he takes to arrive is a bonus at this stage.

AS are apparently saying that Enrique Cerezo has said that a deal has basically been agreed for him to go to Madrid.

He's now denying that he's said it, of course.

A bit of a poisonous move that? Athletico Madrid > Real Madrid. Falcao will get rightly abused from the A.Madrid fans.

Nevertheless, I do wish the gap between Madrid and Barca decreases just so it can continue being an interesting league (this season, not so much as it seems Barca has already won). Falcao joining would make them....enjoyable to watch definitely. I do wonder though if Ronaldo could handle it if he sees Falcao being the main man for the team.

If he does go to Real I just hope it's in the summer after we play them.

A front four of Ronaldo, Falcao, Ozil and Di Maria against our current defence is a scary thought.

Falcao: Only Rennes' Pitroipa (98) has lost the ball due to a poor 1st touch more times than Falcao (81) in Europe's top 5 leagues this term

His all-round play was never amazing IMO, but this stat is too much for a top player.

Doesn't really tell you as much as it looks on the surface. A lot of those touches could be from long balls smashed up to him and having to bring them down. He is often stranded up front for Athletico in the matches I've seen this season. It is still a large amount but his first touch has never looked extremely poor when I've watched him.

On a side note he really has been quite underwhelming since Real Madrid got their act together and started to catch up with Athletico. Started the season in blistering form, the highlight being his hat-trick against us, then has tailed off recently. Doesn't offer much to the team if he isn't scoring goals.

What kind of Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime creates a stat like that?

He hasn't been in good form since his injury at the start of the year. Looks a little tired and short of confidence. League, Europa and International matches are bound to take their toll eventually.

Bookies make Chelsea odds on to sign him now.

What do we think?

On a side note, he's lost a fair bit of form since his injury this season.

It would be a dream to get him. But lets be realistic here.

We don't need Falcão. He's broken anyway. And a mercenary, who's past his prime.

Heh. Just as well us caftards are capable of appreciating what a great striker can bring to the team even if their first touch is a little inconsistent.

Oh wait...
