It's really not even a bookable offense. Nani was legitimately attempting to trap the ball, yes with a high boot, but he didn't -- couldn't -- see the man coming.

I dont like threads like this , yes he cost us the game with a wrong sending off, but really we are better than this.
I don't know overwhelming media in Germany at least said clearly it was a wrong decision and that comes from a press used to a league where every little contact is essentially a foul.
Of course the Spanish press will have their own opinion and the ABUs in England would probably eat their own dicks before admiting that this red card was a complete joke of a decision.
