18 years old, and has already played a few games for Atletico Madrid. He is doing the exact same things in their first team, as he does for the youth teams.
Completely unimpressed.
Perfect timing for him to come through if he would like to play for Barcelona.
 
He looks good, why you unimpressed?
 
Captain of the U19 squad that won the UEFA U19 Championship last summer & now for the U20 squad of La Roja that will play the FIFA U20 WC in Turkey this summer. Terrific skills with a very proactive game, he was on my prior list (long) of midfield talents in Spain - everyone wants to sign this kid. Simeone & Atletico know what sort of gem they have on their hands and I've read nothing that suggests he's looking to leave.

I really like this player
 
Excellent range of passing for a youngster. A lot of them impress with the five-yard tippy tappy stuff, but he's pulling off lovely raking cross-field balls and Carrick-esque midfield-splitters too.
 
He would suit our style of play with that range of passing. Mind you, what is our style of play now? :lol:

What you would play him over Scholes, Giggs and Rooney? Fergie needs to have chat with you. :nono:

Thought the same. Tuned into a couple of Atlético games and he looked a class above almost anyone else in the team technically. I'd assumed he was an expensive January signing before realising he was the same Torres from the u19 tournament last year that looked so impressive.
 
Looks fantastic in that clip.

I'd love for us to sign a technically gifted central midfielder.
 
Havent seen him, would be interested to. But it shouldnt be hard to look a level above Atletico's other players technically as Simeone uses a lot of tough but limited players especially in midfield.
 
He's Barca/Real fodder. I'd be surprised if anyone else gets a look in.

Should be good grist for the muppet-mill for us this summer, though.
 
Would hope that an exceptional talent would kick Gabi and Mario Suarez out of the team, but maybe Simeone is just incredibly boring
 
He's just a kid though, Atletico and Simeone are doing right by him and bringing him along gradually, IMO
 
The just ended match between Alt Madrid and a Singapore selection side? What was the score by the way? Did Falcao come on?

Yup, to come on and start dictating play at his age is a fantastic ability.
 
Wish it was too, I wonder. Either way, it'll be streamed I'm sure. Never tire of watching Torres

Do you fancy him to be a future Barca player or have you got some of your own coming through that will be the future?
