If it's true that Mazinho and the rest of Thiago's reps were in Manchester then I reckon we've gotten him unless we somehow manage to mess up his personal terms. If Barca had anything worthwhile to offer to Thiago (Playing time) they would have done it a long time ago and we'd have never reached this stage. It's done!

I dunno if just Cider is responsible for that. I saw it on Twitter last night that United were unveiling Strootman, Thiago and Garay together, from that 'decap' fella, who apparently used to be a CCN reporter, but is now freelance.

I find myself refreshing this thread with the expectation that someone will post "he has signed" together with proof. I've lost it.

Nev smash!!
Cider isn't the first person to voice this rumour about us signing all three of these players. It was reported by various places before today, he just stuck a cherry-like turd on top of the turd-icing on top of the turd-cake by embellishing the story with some "a person I know" stuff.

I think that's the guy that was 100% positive we'd signed Sneijder.

Good point, lets go back to the serious talk.

I personally don't think he's coming as he will be too expensive after the U21s and Barca wont want to sell him.

For the final fecking time, he has a motherfecking release clause?? arrrgghh

May as well be a fecking Santa Clause. Barca still hold all the power and if they really wanted to, could block any potential move.

The problem is, they'll have seen just how good he is at the U21 tournament and will now want to keep him. Its off.

So Barca wouldn't have known how good he is until they'd seen him in a tournament and not playing for them? Good to know.

I can't see why they're going to sell him, especially after that performance in the final. And why so low?

Joking, like Olly before

Don't be silly, we'd have heard by now if that was true.

I don't see how Norwood would be ITK though - chances are he's just recycling rumours.

The best sign that something's afoot is the fact that the Catalan press are starting to throw their toys out of the pram.
He works at the club. He knows when medicals happen. Look at Olly's post. The lad knows what's going on.

I thought we'd established that he was freelance?

If he works at he club, what's with being so loose-lipped? It's really our style...

Apparently we are interested in his younger brother Rafinha so both brothers are together. A bit like the Hazards but at different clubs, unless you get Rafinha aswell.
