Supernatural crime thriller set in a small Alpine village where a group of men, women and children do not yet know that they have been dead for several years, sounds like it could be pretty good.

After the twin reveal I had to rewind to where it showed family pictures, because I was certain it showed the two sisters as clearly different ages....Nope. My brain fecked me. It fecked me good.

Really enjoyed the first 3 on a bit of a Sunday Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime out session on 4od.

Fantastic score from Mogwai too. That creepy tune that strikes up every now and again really sinks into your skull.

Love the way it keeps linking the characters in with each other and the setting is gorgeous. Hope we get some kind of resolution though and not a load of open ended vagaries.

I hear there is a second season on the way too.

Not sure I liked the introduction of the Psychic nympho. The concept was a bit out there even for a show about dead people coming back from the grave.

Though I really hope they don't do a Lost on it, because right now they're giving us far more questions than answers. Only one episode left too.

There are some things I'm sure they won't answer. Like...why people are coming back from the dead. What possible answer is there to that that isn't utter shit? But there are other things like why Simon killed himself, why creepy Victor is different from the rest, what exactly is dodgy Pierre up to, why creepy Victor is so creepy, what took Serge, why is the water level going down etc.

Yeah there's no real way they can explain why they're coming back without going into ridiculous religious overtones that will ruin the show.

I thought Lena boning Serge was a bit stupid too, he abducted her 24 hours before that and she just found out he's a psycho stabber cannibal. Slut.

I have no idea. It all started with the old damn breaking and yer woman saying the dead will have their revenge some day. Presumably most of he horde was made up of people who died in that. But then the water levels started going down when the dead reappeared. The horde apparently came back the same day as Camille. I don't know. Their revenge for not giving up Adele and half dead foetus is to break the new damn and flood the new town? Because they're water zombies. I'm not sure it's supposed to make sense. Camille's coffin was filled with water too, wasn't it?

Agreed on the copper, that's hopefully the end of him.

Was the late 70s in France really like the 50s?

...that because Victor has made two people try to kill themselves now (Toni and Julie's cat lady neighbour) and we also know he's been floating about for longer than most of the dead, maybe he did the same to Simon.

At the very start of the first episode it broke out of the glass in the old mans place, and then when it showed the shattered glass in Simon's cell, that butterfly was flying around again, I assume we were supposed to believe it did that too.

My take on the Lena thing was she had the scar because of her twin connection to Camille. Never really crossed my mind that she could be dead.
