He could still win the cl so I give him my full support

Well till Wednesday night anyway when we go out of Europe then I'm all for sacking him and giving giggs a few games in charge

Do it. Whos? better? Jose, Wenger, Pellegrini? who's better?
Mourinho, Wenger, Pellegrini, Rodgers, Martinez, Pochettino would all be better and are more suited for United then Moyes is. Not necessarily better for mid table teams in the case of the latter two, but definitely for top teams.

as a matter of principle and common sense.
Taking over SAF is a massive project- you can't expect results too soon.
Matter of principle and common sense?! Feck off.

Principle..that's one step away from RAWK, at least it took them 20 years to reach that stage.

I'm still here, there's difference between supporting Moyes as Moyes and Moyes as Manchester United manager. I'll support him as the latter because he's obviously staying here for the next season ( sorry to break it for some of you, it will probably take you another 10000 threads about Moyes and our shite play to realise that we're in the 14/15 season already ), not happy with the performances, our position, whatsoever naturally, I'm not stupid.

Some baffling stuff popped up on the Caf today though, people having a go at our fans for supporting the team and not booing  Don't like it then go to the match and boo your fecking larynx out you cnuts, our fans are fantastic and Moyes and our players with their pathetic attitude should be 10 feet deep into their asses for being so kind.

Oh, and in before idiotic names for our next managers are thrown, bah, too late.

I defended him for as long as I could. I really tried to support him and give him time, but this is just ridiculous now. We are so bad.

*Raises hand*

I could write a long post on how a loss (with two brainfart penalties!) against a team on form, fresh and highly motivated like Liverpool was not beyond impossible but I'll save my energies for moping around being miserable today.

Should not trust him to rebuild this team. Does not have the capacity to make tactical merited move and can not motivate players. Lets see how United play against Olympikos and see whether that could be the final nail in his coffin. A good manager probably would have rested Persie and Januzaj for this game base on the performance of Welbeck and Kagawa vs West brom. Now we are stuck in a situation that neither rvp or Januzaj will be fully freshed and might be morally battered after the defeat of Liverpool at home.

Feck, AVB is a better manager for me, showed it fully well in Porto (even though he isn't curently a prem manager). Laudrup is another sacked manager who's better. I truly believe these managers produce or have produced better football than Moyes.

Rodgers probably yes, Martinez and Pochettinio are at the same level imho.
You could have said it about Rodgers as well a year and a half ago. Sometimes you just need to be given the chance. Moyes was, of course, and we know how that's looking. The one thing the likes of Martinez have is the right style of football.

Looking over my shoulder.
He is United's manager, so of course I support him. More importantly, I support the club. It is not in the interest of the club, the players or the supporters to start sacking managers after one poor performance. Give him till Christmas and ask the same question again.

Kudos on capitalising Greek though. You get a gold star. I think calming down would be a good idea, we're all disappointed about the game mate.

I'm sorry but I just had to correct you this time. I see your posts popping up all over the place and every bloody time you spell Olympiakos as 'Olybiakos', it does my head in, for some unaccountable reason. Sort it out!
He's training to be a ventriloquist. Didn't you know?

Same level currently I agree, but they are more suited to top teams. Moyes did a good job at Everton but his peak was the level they were at, rather then some people saying he brought Everton as far as he could.

A large percentage of the match going fans still support him, unless those were Liverpool supporters holding that Moyes is a football genius banner.

He picked the team everyone wanted today so maybe for once the players should be the ones who take some criticism. Fwiw I would have played Welbeck over RVP but Moyes would have been crucified for it.

Liverpool were better for sure, but we still handed them the game with some individual errors from a couple of young defenders. Not much Moyes could do about that. Liverpool are a bloody good team as well, our team last season would have struggled with them in this form.

Still think he needs the summer, it's really not fair to judge him when he hasn't been given a proper crack at sorting our midfield out and shipping out some of the deadwood. Guardiola or Mourinho would've struggled with the midfield Fergie left us with.

I find it delusional that so many United fans have now in an effort to back the manager, convinced themselves that he took over a pile of shite in need of rebuilding. It's a phenomenal re-writing of so much history in such a short space of time.

The embarrassing fact is that opposing fans are supporting him.

I can only think that we are waiting to activate outside the top 4 clause and legally this can only be activated when it's mathematically impossible.

The only decent thing left is for him to tender his resignation. We need to rebuild, but I don't he is the man to be trusted with what may be a £200 million project.

The thing is, Moyes went with the team, most, including myself, would have went with.

It just so happened that having Mata and Januzaj on the wings left us too open.

Had we gone with Valencia and Young with the idea of them solidifying us, Moyes would have got some stick. That said, we got stuffed against City with them two on the wings.

I just think in these big games, we need to go with 3 centre midfielders. We were yet again overrun in midfield. Be interesting what we go with against City.

Problem with Moyes is if he stayed true to his own gut reactions to being a manager i would have more respect for him. But for me hes trying to be something hes not and have a team play football that hes not used to play. As a result hes not doing it his way but trying to do it in a way others will approve. And when a manager is not strong enough to back his own convictions he has to go.

Spelled is common in North America. Spelt is more common in UK.

There is no map, no rudder, no sail. Vidic has abandoned ship. We'll bounce back one day, but under Moyes we'll fail.

I am still in Moyes camp but if he is not able to fire up team to get past Olympiacos, I would have no complaints if he gets fired. His decision making is leaving lot to be desired.
