Gifs of our goal keeper seem to be the common theme for most matches.
Ta. Impressive
I couldn't believe that last night. I was screaming at the tele. Who was supposed to be marking who?
this it?
Yeah. I'm sure he tripped himself up and fell into Zabaletta than it being a deliberate lunge at him. I know he'd have clattered him at the speed he was going at anyway but looked a lot worse cos of the trip I think.Any chance of Welbeck's booking? I want to see the challenge again
It's not that far off. Cleverly was covering the right side and the ball was there for a couple of passes, so he was fine. When City had the ball he was covering the flank if the ball was there and Mata would fall back in midfield. Carrick is in the right position covering Yaya and the space that Silva can advance in, so that is spot on. Fellaini is starting his pressing to soon as it looks like Silva will pass back, he should be two yards longer back and maybe a bit closer to the center. Welbeck is way off and with the ball being on the other side of the pitch he really should be in position. He should have been at the top of your F.marking silva? by walking infront of the sideline? i'm wondering what space he is guarding, why that flank space? he is a midfielder, supposedly being used to clog the midfield and shield the defence. Midfielders defend space by occupying the middle and showing the outside space to attackers, not positioning yourself on the outside to block the space and force attackers inside, especially when your choice of positioning leaves others open for easy attacks THROUGH the middle.
What benefit does tom serve defending that space? really he is a huge detriment to the midfield's cohesion to defend by disrupting their shape. If tom slides over to the T to guard the middle and jockey to outside, carrick can slide deeper behind toure, and fellaini can complete the midfield shape and guard all that space behind him. Instead, everyone is dragged completely out of position.
unless you can explain another aspect i've missed, how is this effective marking?
I believe that's the best angle (17 mb 1280x720px): http://gfycat.com/CriminalGraciousErneAny chance of Welbeck's booking? I want to see the challenge again
So I was right, he did just trip himself up which made the challenge worse
Probably because it wasn't a tackle and he tripped himself up. Clearly unintentional. How was Welbeck allowed to play the rest of the match? That is a very very poor "tackle".
It was reckless. No complaints had that been a red.Probably because it wasn't a tackle and he tripped himself up. Clearly unintentional.
Watch his left foot you nutter. It was reckless. No complaints had that been a red.

You're right. How reckless of him to slip and trip himself up. My god what blind judgement.

Do you happen to remember when that happened? Doesn't have to be the exact minute, can be anything, even "not long before the penalty" would be helpful.Jones heading it on the floor.
Not my work: http://gfycat.com/EnormousJoyousAlaskankleekai 1mbGif og Ole high fiving the West Brom manager after Dælhi's goal yesterday would be cool, 94-95 mins.

Cheers. That is so raw and elegant it oozes class. I'll say it again, with the right coaching he'll be a total monster
ValenciaAnybody got these please;
Valencia on Lahm
Someone wiping out Carrick after he cleared the ball (no idea who it was, no replay either so it'll be difficult to find but it was after Schweinsteiger first yellow, before his second)
Rooney telling Schweinsteiger to do one
In all seriousness, I believe GifLord makes gifs of goals only, so no luck, you're stuck with me.@GifLord please Buttner's handball, and Phil Jones slipping in the box and that scatter
