Switzerland, send Argentina home please!
Germany hasn't been dominant either. Probably why the odds for the Netherlands and France have been shorted so much over the tournament.Argentina and Brazil both pre tournament favorites look poor.
Argentina have been flaccid again, but France's success over the Swiss was as much down to their naivety and gung-ho tactics. Fortunately for them Hitzfield has reigned them back in again. The French team dismantled this Swiss team and Argentina have barely had any significant chances. Don't look impressive at all..
Sadly, he's not got the personality to make others play better around him.Argies don't look like scoring at all. Would need Messi to pop up with another deflected or wonder goal.
what are you on about? He's had one chance this game which he tried a chip. The attempt which he hit over the bar in this half was a very difficult angle. He's played well given he's working from scraps, last game he provided two tap ins. Swiss need to be braver and give Drmic some support. This Swiss striker is awful any half decent striker would have had 2 already.
In what world did Nigeria play better than France?Chile, Mexico, Greece, Nigeria and Algeria all played much better than the teams the played against and they all lost. Switzerland need to take their chances or they'll be the next name on that list. Colombia are the only team that has won their KO match and actually looked well worth their win.
OK I did not know thatHe played few games for Swiss U21.
Ivan Rakitic is born and raised in Switzerland. Never lived a day of his life in Croatia. Used to play for their under 21s. Same with Zdravko Kuzmanovic from Serbia/Internazionale.....
