This. His 'finishing' was better than anyone in our squad last season and when given a good run of games as a striker he got 7 goals in 8 games. I would have rather kept Welbeck and sold either one of Rooney/RVP considering how much younger he is.

It sucks losing welbeck but he would never fulfill his potential if we forced him to be a squad player for a long time like what was going to happen if he stayed.
