Done pretty well in the first half. But as we saw at the end, one goal is not enough. Apart from that penalty Everton have created nothing, more because United are pushing them back at the other end than because our back 4 have had to be brilliant.

That's his first pen save since RVP in the 8-2 massacare! He's let in a good few in his time here so that's a major boost for him!

Decent first half, Blind, Rojo, Rafael and Di Maria have been good, just need to push on now and get a couple more goals, Everton are there for the taking.

Shaw should never be diving in like that. LVG won't be happy about that. It's fecking amateurish...to not be able to hold out for two minutes at the end of a half of football. To be diving in in that manner is asking for trouble. even if he did get the ball, don't give the ref a chance to make a decision. I thought we were past this with the rafael incident at leicester...apparently not. sort it out LVG

Di Maria once again has been fecking brilliant. Still can't believe he plays for us, Madrid are idiots for letting him go.

He got the ball but the way it lunged looks dodgy every time.

Still another major marginal decision goes against us this season.

Think he saved one or two in the league cup shoot out V Sunderland. But its the first he has saved outside of a shootout since then.

Thought we were pretty good that half, but the defence has been nervy at times. A saved penalty at half time ought to keep the spirits up and all.

McNair has done very well against the tank that is Lukaku too, pleasantly surprised.

We've been in complete control. Just need to make sure we don't let the ref give anyone a second yellow and we should win this.

Our CM is a bit shocking, apart from that we look good enough but Val and Blind can't get hold of the CM at all

So happy we've got in without conceding. It would be another kick in the balls after a promising first half performance. We let Everton have too much of the ball in the early stages but we've slowly imposed ourselves on the game. Rafael is owning that right flank and we're handling possession in midfield well. Need to get more of Mata and Di Maria on the ball and better passes to the strikers. Our defending has been pretty good with this back 4 so far. McNair and Rojo are fairly solid, and Shaw apart from that tackle has been good.

Falcao needs a goal for his confidence. But at least he's putting himself about for chances.

I have only seen the replay once but from the end on angle it looked like Shaw got the ball cleanly?
He might have done but it's difficult to tell, mainly because if it was Hibbert the ball would have gone in that direction too
