    Provided they're all fit.

De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, McNair, Shaw; Blind, Carrick, Herrera; Mata, Rooney, Di Maria

Fellaini, Adnan and Van Persie to drop out for this one. I like the idea of Mata, Herrera and Di Maria supporting Rooney.
    Yup, I'd like this too.

Blind or Carrick doesn't really matter, i like Carrick a bit more though. Fellaini deserves to be starting and i like him as a b2b, he is no Vidal or Schweini but he has other great attributes to his game and he can hurt Arsenal alot.

I don't like Mata that much on the wings, but after his performance against CP he deserves to start over Januzaj.

    ---------------RvP------------------

This is the team I think van Gaal will pick. Carrick is rated very highly so Blind will probably make way and it seems that Fellaini has displaced Herrera. Mata's second half performance against Crystal Palace will get him the start and van Persie seems to be undroppable.

Will be a massive boost to have Rafael back for this. He might be an RB but he has the ability to massively influence the way we play, and we know he will be up for a game like this. Him and Herrera were linking up so well down that right side, so I'd love to see that combo again but I expect LvG to be more conservative and name a similar line-up to what we have put out in the last few games, rather than making too many changes at once.

Yep, will be very happy to see him fit for this one.

I don't really want him to, put I think van Gaal will play Di Maria wide left again because of Chambers' performance against Montero at Swansea.

After Carrick's excellent display, I hope he starts. Not sure how though, as Blind also deserves to start and by now surely Herrera does too. Nevermind Mata, Rooney, Rvp and Di Maria.

Blind will be on Alexis for the 90 minutes. I have no doubts thats gonna be his sole mission for the game.

Carrick will pull the strings from deep and give us order.

Guardian/Telegraph reporting Falcao is missing for you lot.
Its jackson, so its not true. Falcao tweeted the other day calling him out how he was lying, and Rafael tweeted today that he's back in training while jackson said he'd be out too... Hes full of shit really, both are back in training so why would they be out for a game that is in just under 2 weeks? Not like they were out for a long time.

A this moment I think i will like to see this

    DDG
    Rafael* CB** CB** Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera Carrick
    __Mata______Di Maria
    Rooney

    * Rafael hopefully if he is fit enough. I think he will.
** CB is also dependable on who is available. I will like McNair to have a chance to be honest.

Up front I want Mata and Di Maria to both play on the center and also on the wing like free roles where they could go to as they see fit. I think Mata, Herrera and Rafael can do a lot of damage on the Right. Herrera can push forward to the middle or the wing to when Mata goes to the middle, same from Rafael. I think this combo with a lot of movement can do a lot of damage.

I want Carrick to stay deep with Blind, they both can push forward when they feel necessary but they will keep in touch with Sanchez to nullify him when they attack. Carrick can also put some nice forward passes to Di Maria where he can do a lot of damage. Also Herrera and Carrick can interchange places.

I leave RVP out for this because of his recent form. I do think that because is Arsenal he might play well this game though. Falcao is also out because we don't know how fit he is. I think he will be on the bench for this one though. He say he is back on training.

    Tough to argue against:

    -------Rooney------
    --------Mata---------
    DiMaria-----Herrera
    ----Blind-Carrick---
    Shaw-------------Rafael
    ------CB----CB------
    --------De Gea------

with the CB's depending on health. If we look flat or need a goal, just sub off one of Blind or Carrick, bring on an attacker or winger and go 4-3-3 or the diamond.

Herrera-Blind-di Maria-Mata to start to teach Arsenal that not only them know how to play possession football.

Long way to go but this is my team (if the match would be tomorrow)

If Falcao, Jones, Evans, Rojo, Young & Lingard are out......

    Starting XI: Van Persie--------------Rooney
    -----------------------------Herrera
    ----------------.Di Maria---------------Fellaini
    -----------------------------.Carrick
Shaw------------Blind------------------McNair------Rafael (If he's already back in training then he should be fit)
    ------------------------------De Gea

Bench: Lindegaard, Smalling, Blackett, Valencia, Mata, Januzaj, Wilson

People are seriously picking Carrick and Blind over Smalling at CB?

A lot depends on who is fit but I would like to see a 4-3-3, Blind/Herrera/Fellaini in midfield, Mata and ADM, Rooney as lone striker.

Fellaini I believe can absolutely bully the Arsenal midfield and back line, and both he and Herrera are capable of pushing on to join the attack where appropriate.

Defence at this stage is basically whoever is fit.

    1) Van Gaal will pick one left-footed CB and one right-footed CB.....so it's Blind or Blackett

    2) McNair was decent so far

    3) I'm still furious with Smalling.....sorry i can't forget that and that's why he's on the bench at least in my team (Van Gaal is maybe not so emotional)

We don't need to defend v Man Utd we run through you like a rough curry.
lol... I really hope you guys bring a midfield of Ramsey and Wilshere. Maybe last year you would have a point, but now with Blind, Herrera, Carrick and a improve Fellaini you wont be able to overrun us on midfield as teams use to do last year. Plus you need cover for your defense or Di Maria will have fun going trough your midfield.

Our only concern with Arsenal is Sanchez. If we can mark him well we already do half of the job.

Do you guys reckon we're going to try and take Sanchez out of the game like we did with Fabregas?

Seeing as this is at the Emirates I don't think van Gaal will use this game to go back to the diamond.

Are you getting Fabregas confused with Reyes? These days you can't just go around kicking people.
Nah, as you might recall Fabregas plays for Chelsea these days and we played them just a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe we will go with Blind and Carrick as two DM and Herrera as cm behind front 3. Ajax usually play that way.

    -------De Gea
    ------back four
    ....Carrick - Blind
    --------Herrera
Mata - Falcao - Di Maria

But Rooney will 100% start so he could displace Mata and Di Maria goes on the right wing.

Judging by current injuries (I expect to have a few back by this game):

    de Gea
    Rafael Smalling McNair Shaw
    Carrick Blind
    Fellaini
    Di Maria van Persie Rooney
    --
Lindegaard; Blackett; Herrera, Valencia, Januzaj, Mata; Wilson

I expect something like this to try and boss Arsenal in midfield with a bit more physicality and height in the team. However, if no other experienced central defenders are fit, Carrick may play there again in order to get Mata into the team after changing the game against Palace (in which case Fellaini drops to CM and Mata plays as the CAM). Flexible formation as Di Maria can also go into CM or AM and we'd have both Rooney and van Persie as strikers.

Personally, I'd even drop van Persie and play Rooney as the striker... But I doubt that will happen.

Arsenal are probably the only team with as many injuries as us (especially at the back), so it might come down to who can get the closest to their first 11 on the pitch as to who comes out on top. Probably going to have to wait for the Friday before the game to make the proper predictions... Expecting another injury to occur in that time though
