Rooney and Wilson up front please. It is time Rooney gets at least a match as a striker. Falcao and RvP are older and need rest.
Hoping to see Pereira and the selfish kid get a start.

I'd play as much of the bench/squad players as possible--minus fletcher, who, sadly, really does seem undone. We do not need adm, Rooney, or falcoa getting the kung fu chop from some yeovil hack.

Ah right, cheers. Hope we don't underestimate Yeovil, really want us to take the FA cup seriously. Not playing again until the 11th so no reason why we can't pick a decent side.

Actually, he's a bit younger. Would love to see Falcao leading the line by himself. He would likely score a few goals (considering the opposition) which would bring back the confidence.

Which pub are United supporters heading to in Yeovil? Heard it's The Arrow close to the ground?

There are only a couple of pubs around the area, it's probably best to head to the town centre and find your way to the ground from there, lads going to the game also be aware that there is no concourse. it is a proper old fashioned ground, so you'll have to get your drinking done before you get to the turnstyles. Also there is no roof on the away end so prepare to get wet!

On a sidenote, i have played on that pitch and it's fecking awful, they put sand on it by the bucket load for some reason, it will be hard, bumpy and sandy.

I live about 5 miles from Yeovil and getting to the ground is a nightmare from the town centre. The Arrow is the closest pub to the ground.

The pitch is decent, they had it relaid last year when they were in the Championship, the days of sand thrown all over it are long gone.

We don't have another game for a week after this so I would like to see a close to full strength side, and I think we will.

Thank god for that, when i played there they were in League 2 and it was like a beach. where do you live out of curiosity? i've followed Weymouth up there a couple of times in the FA Trophy, there is a bizarrly intense rivalry there.

Place called Sherborne, about 30 mins from Weymouth. Yeovil and Weymouth hate each other. Dates back to their Conference days, when they used to play each other

I know Sherbourne, we used to have a fierce rivalry with them at youth football level when i playeed for Weymouth Eagles, we won the Dorset league back to back at under 13 and 14 and they hated us for it, used to kick lumps out of us!

Can't wait until the two of you realize you are long lost siblings. Re-united through the Caf's match day forum. What a story.

Januzaj, Wilson, Pereira, McNair and Lingard should all start.
We have to be careful with the team we pick. The first four probably will start. Lingard on the bench maybe. We cannot afford to be another giant killing this season. Even though Yeovil are not very good at the minute.

A team like this should beat the bottom league 1 team and if you add Di Maria and maybe Blind and Fellaini to the bench
it should be an easy win.

    DDG
    Rafael Smalling McNair Shaw
    Fletcher
    Pereira Herrera

I would only rest DDG, Carrick, RvP and Rooney, but leave them all on the bench. We have seen on numerous occasions that our squad players are not good enough to beat teams from the lower divisions. We have no European games this season so our squad can cope with the FA Cup and I guess we will have to keep the bean counters happy as well.

Want to see Wilson,Januzaj and Pereira get a start here.
And i hope players returning from injury will get a start, the likes of Rojo,Di Maria and Rafael.

Hope to see a strong team put out, dont wanna have another Carling Cup fiasco.
Really hope we can get to the final of the FA Cup this season.

    RIP Phil Hughes
    De Gea
    Rafael Mcnair Blackett Shaw
    Carrick
    Pereira Herrera
    Januzaj
    Wilson Falcao

This would be the ideal team for me as I am a firm believer in youth and would be extremely excited to see it happen but it is a very unlikely team to play against Yeovil.

Lvg, I am sure has said on numerous occasions, he is going to take this competition very seriously because its probably our most realistic chance at silverware this season so I think he will go with a similar team against Tottenham and Stoke but will obviously rest some players.

Rafael, Shaw, Di Maria, Herrera, Rojo?, Januzaj and Wilson are the only ones I want to start, the rest can be youth and subs.

No idea what team we will put out. It'll be an interesting one as players clearly need rest. We have a few returnees from injury and a host of youth players champing at the bit as well.

I'd like to see 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 in this one though, not sure what the use of 3-5-2 would be, especially as it looks like we have our first choice full backs now.
