Absolutely agree. I also wasn't that sure about Rob Lowe and Adam Scott's characters when they came into it but they turn out to be some of the best characters in the show. Ron Swanson on snake juice has to be one of the greatest sights ever witnessed on television.

I recently re-watched some of season 2-5 and I do agree -
I would lengthen it to Seasons 2-4 as being some of the best ever. From 5 onwards it tailed slightly - but still brilliant and pretty hilarious. I think they should have ended it after the season that has just finished, but I am looking forward to the final season.
It gets so, so, SO much better from early season 2 onwards. I don't know anyone who's made it that far and then didn't love it from that point on. Stick with it.
Obviously with any show it's going to need a while to establish things, get into its stride etc so i was going to give it the first 6 at least. Glad to hear it though!

It's more than that. Some characters radically change personality or traits by the beginning of season 2, as they were pretty shit in season 1. Agree it definitely hits full stride by then, season 1 is meh. If you more or less enjoyed it, you're gonna love what comes next.
