Sure Liverpool are in form but they are no great shakes. They should have been down 3-1 in the first half. They can drop easy points.

Our shit form recently really will cost us in the long run. Southampton at home, West Ham away and Swansea were games we needed a maximum points total from. Everyone around us have caught up. Southampton were never really going to be in contention for a top 4. Europa league wont derail Liverpool too much either I don't think. They are on a really strong run.

Spurs are playing on the 26th (Thursday) return Fiorentina, and if they win they will be playing (someone) on Thursday the 12th before we play them Sunday the 15th … and 'pool will be playing on the 19th before we play them Sunday 22nd

Two months ago Liverpool were on the brink. Out of the CL, beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford amongst the other shocking results and performances. Now they've found their style again, are resilient and back scoring. Only 2 points behind when at one stage they were 10. I'm not confident.
I think one has to concede that Rodgers is turning into a very good manager. He's certainly turned it around again...
The lesson could also be that things can turn around quickly. Things are looking shitty for us at the moment, but it might be the case for us as well.
Could there ever be a time in history when Liverpool should be content that they got hammered by us at home ? That was their turning point.
Because they've had time away from Europe travel and mid-week fixtures … they are well and truly back now with this weeks fixtures and they will suffer again!
