Disgusting performance from the ref here, after watching us and then coming home to this i could put me foot through the telly.
Spurs arent playing this week right?Am I seriously the only one happy about this scoreline (other than the 'pool fans of course). Liverpool have to travel to Besiktas on Thursday then to City on Sunday, if they win the Besiktas game and Spurs win their game ( a bit more unlikely) it means we'll play both on the back of them playing Thursday games. Liverpool have not been "great" today!
I think both these teams would have raised their games if they were playing us … and therein lies the problem!
In league table terms, Southampton are 5th and the latter 6th. Where did you get the fourth from ?Arsenal third and Liverpool fourth.
United have blown it.
Despite Lovren.Defensively Liverpool are so much more assured. Mignolet having a good run of form too. Saints haven't really tested him.
I admire your optimism. I've been like that till yesterday but yesterday broke my back so to say.Stop all this negativity. We can go to Anfield and win! Need some positivity.
If we learnt anything from Liverpool-United derbies it's that form goes out of the window on these matches.Stop all this negativity. We can go to Anfield and win! Need some positivity.
The team isn't showing us something to be positive about. Van Gaal is a fool, I'm sorry but he is. How do you feck top four so bad? How? Please explain this to me.Stop all this negativity. We can go to Anfield and win! Need some positivity.
That's my prediction of how the final standings will look.In league table terms, Southampton are 5th and the latter 6th. Where did you get the fourth from ?
Not at Anfield. We're usually shit there as is Liverpool shit at OT.If we learnt anything from Liverpool-United derbies it's that for goes out of the window on these matches.
didn't think they would at any stage.Southampton were never coming top four? I didn't hear much of that for the past weeks, by this time next week, we'll be having a different reaction as there's a possibility to pull away. Looking at the bigger picture though, we're good enough to reach our objectives this season.
they've an easier run in than us, are in better form, and we've to go to Anfield.Sure Liverpool are in form but they are no great shakes. They should have been down 3-1 in the first half. They can drop easy points.
Wrong, they play Fiorentina on Thursday, then Capital One Cup final. I have just realised you might mean the league. So no league match.Spurs arent playing this week right?
Whats up with the tagline? Both these teams will finish above us... Spurs might too.. unless they do a "spurs"
Spurs are playing on the 26th (Thursday) return Fiorentina, and if they win they will be playing (someone) on Thursday the 12th before we play them Sunday the 15th … and 'pool will be playing on the 19th before we play them Sunday 22ndSpurs arent playing this week right?
My thoughts are feck style, let's develop a pattern of win-at-all-costs. I don't care if it means 3-5-2 for the rest of the season. Just get that 3rd/4th spot, then talk of style and beautiful football in the summer.didn't think they would at any stage.
It's our prospects that I've changed mind on, from definitely would, to a bit of doubt, to now, looking at Pool's fixtures versus ours, cripes, squeaky bum unless we can develop some style.
But then again, is there anything we ( at United) do with comfort in stead of hardship ?That's my prediction of how the final standings will look.
United have let a 10 point lead over Liverpool be dwindled down to two.
Shows how much of a straw man that run of two defeats in 19 has been.
I see. Thanks.Spurs are playing on the 26th (Thursday) return Fiorentina, and if they win they will be playing (someone) on Thursday the 12th before we play them Sunday the 15th … and 'pool will be playing on the 19th before we play them Sunday 22nd
The lesson could also be that things can turn around quickly. Things are looking shitty for us at the moment, but it might be the case for us as well. Two months ago Liverpool were on the brink. Out of the CL, beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford amongst the other shocking results and performances. Now they've found their style again, are resilient and back scoring. Only 2 points behind when at one stage they were 10. I'm not confident.
Because they've had time away from Europe travel and mid-week fixtures … they are well and truly back now with this weeks fixtures and they will suffer again! Two months ago Liverpool were on the brink. Out of the CL, beaten 3-0 at Old Trafford amongst the other shocking results and performances. Now they've found their style again, are resilient and back scoring. Only 2 points behind when at one stage they were 10. I'm not confident.
Yes, he's done it. And they're playing nice football. Up there with Southampton, City and Spurs.I think one has to concede that Rodgers is turning into a very good manager. He's certainly turned it around again...
There's an underlying message. They've progressed in style and results. We've gone backwards. The lesson could also be that things can turn around quickly. Things are looking shitty for us at the moment, but it might be the case for us as well.
Yep, detest him, but he's done a great job the last few months. He's getting results now and it's disgustingly impressive.I think one has to concede that Rodgers is turning into a very good manager. He's certainly turned it around again...
