Is everyone finished with bidding?? Have just made an unpicked XI which actually look better than my team! haha!
I hope so.And if OP allowed you to change your current team with unpicked one, will you be ok with it?

To be honest I'll be losing out to Pele, Ronaldo, Fachetti, Socrates and Gentile so could probably have 22 players on my side and still struggle....

Turns out there's something wrong with the search function here, which means I was badly fooled last night: Thought the likes of Eusebio and Scirea hadn't been picked. Law too.

Well, well – it'll make it more fun to come up with an un-picked XI.

Match 2: The battle of the eras out wide, featuring two of the very best traditional wingers against the wingers who dominate current football.

--------STOBZILLA ----------VS---------- CAL
VS

-----JOHNSTONE---------------------------ROBBEN

--------MATTHEWS-----------------------CRISTIANO
I'm somewhat confused with what to expect with Stobzilla's huge squad...

My side is almost like a 1996-2015 world XI methinks, except Zidane, it's difficult to argue anyone will definitely get into this:

Match 5: A nearly flawless defense has been assembled, with Schwarzenbeck, Beckenbauer, Vogts and Desailly as the defensive midfield destroyer.

------------Rijkaard-------------------Platini

----------------------------VERSUS

Bear in mind that my search function is fecked, so apologies in advance if there's a picked player on the park somewhere.

Sub: If Kempes pisses about too much, I'll throw on Fontaine to grab the winner.

We might as well pack our bags and close these drafts if that happened

There's a load of them really. Spencer, Dalglish, Sindelar, Mackay, Bremner, Hagi, Netzer, Schiaffino, Kaka, Netto, Joya, Coluna.

Erico too, and Sarosi without a Euro restrictions is a rich man's Charles - world class as a forward, defender AND midfielder - what a tactical option

Netzer too, he really was something. Lots and lots and lots (and to think about some names that were picked before them :nervous:)

Name and shame the managers who picked poorly - could be interesting, I was struggling big time for a CB and I think I messed up my DM.

Mazzola's never had much joy in these things, has he? Not that Rivera, for instance, is super popular/rated either, but I can't recall Mazzola being as much as featured. Probably has been, though - but not much and not since I began taking an interest in the Caf drafts.

Nobody picked Nobby either, I think. Easy man to sell - and has been well received in recent apperances.

Who - Andrade? Wouldn't call that messing up, legendary player – unless you have realized that he doesn't actually fit your tactics ideally.

Central defenders: Vasovic and Kohler. Hardly mugs in any context.

But it's tricky. Depends on your basic approach: whether you want to put together a team you like – or a team you think you can sell.

Ctrl+F mate

I did wonder what you were on about. Some great players left out who are clearly better than some of those on display BUT not nailed on final starters. In fact, the better ones obviously play in key roles and they would be a relative weakness at that stage.

Tonnes of superb forwards

I was really happy with my side but I wanted to go 4-4-2 diamond and now I am having to play 4-3-3 because Andrade isn't a pure DM which isn't what I wanted.

I picked Kopa over Netzer because Kopa can play 10 or RW and also.. haven't seen him in many drafts.

Kohler was a shoe in as my man marker but I hope Vasovic is given the respect he deserves, there are some brilliant sweepers taken by the other managers.
