I can't remember us using the different Champions League typeface in League Cup and FA Cup matches, last few seasons we definitely haven't.
2007/08 CL final, for example.

This is the correct answer.Let's just say if they weren't advertising that women's shirt as a replica it would be OK. However, it's not a replica of the actual kit, look at the colour it lacks the black hem. If they'd made a replica top with the right cut, and added that as a leisure top then it would be fine.
You misread what I said, I know we use different typeface in the Champions League and Europa League but normally we use the Premier League one in the domestic cups.We didn't last season cause we weren't in the CL, but we've used United's own font for as long as I can remember in CL games and cup games.
I think it's always just been the capital one cup.You misread what I said, I know we use different typeface in the Champions League and Europa League but normally we use the Premier League one in the domestic cups.
Van Persie and Welbeck vs. West Ham in the FA Cup 2013:
Ronaldo and van Nistelrooy back in 2004 celebrating in Cardiff:
We (and I believe Nike clubs in general) haven't in the domestic cups. Adidas started doing it around 2011 IIRC and the clubs with other kit manufacturers soon followed suit.I think it's always just been the capital one cup.
Edit: apparently not that either!
Maybe we don't in the cups.
Yeah, I know arsenal did it and they're with Puma.We (and I believe Nike clubs in general) haven't in the domestic cups. Adidas started doing it around 2011 IIRC and the clubs with other kit manufacturers soon followed suit.
Well we have no Women's team. So if they made a woman's version of the men's top it wouldn't be a replica. The true replica is the men's shirts. Woman who have a problem should just get a men's shirt in their size. It would look fine.Let's just say if they weren't advertising that women's shirt as a replica it would be OK. Anyone bought / seen the long sleeve version in person?
How do the sleeves actually look - does it look like a poor extension to the short sleeve and ruin the kit, or is it ok in person?
Exactly. I hope we start using European fonts in domestic cups. The PL font is a lil boring. We (and I believe Nike clubs in general) haven't in the domestic cups. Adidas started doing it around 2011 IIRC and the clubs with other kit manufacturers soon followed suit.
If they don't like the neckline can't they just buy the blokes?Apparently there's outrage (that word again) over the neckline on the women's shirt...

Don't see what the fuss is, it doesn't even show cleavage. But who am I to disagree with this twat?

"Horrendous and sexist."
Is there really a fuss though? It just seems like a few people trying their best to be offended as vocally as possible. I mean who really gives a shit?Seems a shame there's a fuss about the women's shirt, when there seems little that we don't have a womens team.
This is the problem with twitter. It gives any idiot and their bad opinions a microphone. Is there really a fuss though? It just seems like a few people trying their best to be offended as vocally as possible. I mean who really gives a shit?
Read their other tweets, they were just joking. Newspapers picked up on it so they could generate outrage clicks. Is there really a fuss though? It just seems like a few people trying their best to be offended as vocally as possible. I mean who really gives a shit?
exactly my thoughtsIf they don't like the neckline can't they just buy the blokes?
I was talking about the newspaper reports rather than that tweet to be honest. If the report was based on that tweet then feck me, I'd expect better from Hello or OK magazine.Read their other tweets, they were just joking. Newspapers picked up on it so they could generate outrage clicks.
Middle class, first world, tumblr posting, white women problems. Is there really a fuss though? It just seems like a few people trying their best to be offended as vocally as possible. I mean who really gives a shit?
It'll probably go well with her Fellaini wig.We should do Man United thongs for the ladies. I know what Mrs BwuK would be getting for xmas.
So, you mean this universe?I agree with her point as she wanted it to be near identical with the 83 style collar. If she was a true feminist she'd say there should be a unisex kit for males and females.
Somewhere in a parallel universe, probably near Newcastle, there are some Geordie Shore wannabe blokes who are loving the the lowness of that female kit and are green with envy.
Adizero is the player version whereas the climacool is the fans version. They're both of course replicas of the real shirts the players wear.Whats the difference between the adizero kit and the replica?
adizero uses slightly different material and the badge isn't sewn on using a patchWhats the difference between the adizero kit and the replica?
Mrs Bwuk need a bit of a wax does she? It'll probably go well with her Fellaini wig.
Not really worth the extra money!adizero uses slightly different material and the badge isn't sewn on using a patch

Even though I found myself getting chatted up by the girl in my local sports store at the United Adidas display, I resisted today. Went and bought a Springsteen vinyl instead. The marketing has gotten to my subconscious, can't stop thinking about it. Must. Be. Strong.I've not bought a football shirt since 2008, they're really not something I wear these days, and yet I sort of want the new kit. Have I been a victim of the ridiculous marketing? I feel like an absolute sucker.
Nike sometimes offered the authentic players version of the kit alongside the replica - in that instance the authentic was the same as the one the players wore.Adizero is the player version whereas the climacool is the fans version. They're both of course replicas of the real shirts the players wear.
I don't like it, TBF it is ugly, but i don't care either because we will probably never wear this kit. Well i hope we will not.
