Both the home and away shirts look great and the third would have been if it was our standard red trim with the black instead of the random orange but never mind, was only planning to get the home shirt anyway. You know they've done a good job with them though when most of us aren't even moaning about the damn Chevy logo anymore.

I posted a tweet of the away kit with white shorts; it looked mint. It now looks blegh to me, dont like the red; white, black combination at all.
Pretty much every single white kit of ours has been released with contrasting shorts... either black or dark blue.

Have we not been through the black shorts/white shorts issue repeatedly on here already? The colour of the shorts they wear depends on the colour of the opposition's shorts. Nobody's going to stop you buying it and wearing the home shorts with it mate!

Only that almost no club in the PL has black home shorts.
No - most of them have white home shorts. Which is precisely why we need black away ones!

Edit: And 5 clubs have black home shorts, while 4 have blue ones. 9 have white home shorts - which is why our away kit - which is specifically designed to contrast with the home kit - has black shorts!

We wore all white when we were hammered 5-0 by Watford in the last game of the season, many moons ago. Then again we beat Barca in CWC final wearing an all white strip. Thought I'd share that...

Yeah, we've not set the world on fire in all white. 1957 FA Cup Final, 2009 Champions League Final, 2003 League Cup Final, 1990 FA Cup Final...

Really impressed with these new shirts so far. The home shirt is the best one we've had for years.

Black shirts is a possibility, but then those teams wear black shorts and Sunderland also wear black socks this season, so some combination of black shirts and white shorts and socks is possible. Depending on how much white makes up Sunderland and Southampton's shirts this season, we could possibly (as i said) wear all white in those games and not clash.

In 2013/14 we wore the blue/black shirt with white shorts and socks away to both.

Teams with red and white striped shirts are the reason we always had blue third kits for about 40 years.

Looks great, in my opinion. I really like the home kit as well. They're both the best we've had in years. I'll be getting the home kit with Premier League font and the white kit with the United font. Very pleased.

red Shorts make no sense. If we are not wearing the "home" jersey its because there is a colour clash with someone in a redish jersey. having red shorts will not help with the colour clash. The black is fine. we always wear white with a black shorts ALWAYS (except the times we wore blue) people just like to have a fecking moan.
