I thought we were fine. Swansea at away was never going to be a pushover job. Still we've been the better team.

I'm pretty confident we'll nick a goal in the second half.

Actually optimistic about the second half, I don't think Swansea can keep their intensity this high.

Only Darmian and Basti have been good, the rest need to step up big time in the 2nd half.

Ummm. We've been battling in midfield. I wouldn't really blame our attack. I feel people are looking for an excuse for this half. Its just a really tough away game like should have been expected. We need our wingers more on the ball, the central areas are too tight

Smalling, Shaw and Darmian excellent again today. Our attacking play isn't quite working though - Herrera is getting closed down, but still managed to create a couple of decent chances. Mata's been invisible so far, and Memphis hasn't really got going yet. Rooney's wasted the half-chances he's got, and he simply isn't getting anything done on his own - whether or not that's his fault is a matter of opinion to some extent, but look at Gomis at the other end. He's created a couple of dangerous chances out of nothing.

Wouldn't mind seeing Januzaj instead of Mata during the second half if it continues like this - at least he can try taking on a man.

I said it before kickoff, Young should have started.
Thought he was gonna start as well, seing Herrera was a sure starter for this game...United need someone to put there right back on the back foot..and that's never gonna be mata.

We all think we need someone with pace on the right, but we have buckets of pace down the left and we never fecking use it.

Andy Townsend is a bloody prat but he has a point about Shaw and Memphis looking to cut back inside every single time.

Schneiderlin was having an excellent half until that foolish foul which puts him under real pressure in the rain and will probably result in him coming off early. The other two yellows for Routledge and Memphis were beyond fussy.

What's wrong with Rooney's left foot? Twice he was through and should have had a lash but looked to come back onto his right. I've never seen him so hesitant to use his left before.
    He's borrowed Valencia's.

Rooney is the problem. fecking useless

Even if we get a new striker, we have him sitting his fat ass on 300 k week

it's gonna be hard viewing this season isn't it.

it's like we're Arsenal but without the goal threat!

Oddly, I think we'll do excellently in Europe, but in the league many many low scoring games.

Rollon Fellaini coming on so we can at least win some aerial sh!t

Rooney and Mata have been the biggest let downs. They our most experienced players.

Fellaini and Young would offer more currently.

I think Darmian is a good defender but very hesitant when it comes to attack, especially in the opposition third

The problem is, whilst we still aren't scoring goals it only takes a chance like the one Siggurdsson narrowly missed to see us beaten or dropping points. Rooney poor again, unsurprisingly.

Decent first half. Just need to take more risks when we are 15yards into the opposition half. Surely we should be well covered in that position. For all the time we spend shifting the ball across we are wasting time to be making attacks.
Mata's even more shit now when he has to play with his back to the goal at the #10 position. Herrera's been decent and out of the 3 shots on goal , 2 have come off Herrera's pass.

I don't quite get what warrants changing Herrera for Mata. Mata for Ashley Young would make infinitely more sense.

Gomis has had the better of Blind, not a natural centre back and not as strong or quick as Smalling so it always likely to happen.

Rooney should be doing way better with the chances he's been given.

A nothing game so far, pretty much like all our games this season save for Newcastle for a couple of 15-minute periods at either side of the game. We may get results playing like this because we are hard to score against and will inevitably get a goal here and there but entertainment value is very low.

Build up is too slow. Rooney is back to not trying at all. Probably needs a subbing. Romero needs to learn how to kick a ball. Other than that, not THAT bad considering Swansea are always a tough squad.

Rooney doesn't have the acceleration of Aguero. He's not really suited to be a modern striker; basically just an above average midfielder with very good finishing.
    He's just out of form.

Not so sure why there is so much doom and gloom. United and Swansea are attacking, but the defenses are on top. Both LB and RB for both teams playing well.

Only player I think is disappointing is Depay, getting pushed around a bit, and making some poor passes.

Still think United will knick this.
