Smalling and Darmian are solid on the right side, Blind and Shaw are a weakness, not so much Shaw as he has alot to do offensively, but Blind is not a true CB

As predicted all our weaknesses in the goalkeeper, defense, flanks and forward line will be exposed the day we meet a decent team

I would prefer this team (if we played the ball on the deck) except for mata or Herrera on for Rooney.

It appears LVG doesn't know how to handle situation by thinking on his feet unfortunately
His response was taking off the only player who managed any successful through balls, Ander Herrera. Just don't know what to say.

Atkinson hasn't given us a thing all game. That said we've not been good enough

Bringing on Carrick, Young and Fellaini when you need a goal or two really sums up how light we are in attack.
It's not even that, it's taking off your creative players to do it. Memphis should have come off, Rooney should have come off and Bastian should have come off. He got it wrong again.

Effectively a replay of last season's fixture, so so frustrating. United took the lead, looked in control but let it slip, conceding two soft goals.

Good play by Shaw setup Mata for the opening goal early in the second-half and United were pressing for a second goal when Swansea hit them on the break to equalise through Ayew. Five minutes later the home side got in behind United again, Gomis beating Romero with a soft shot to make it 2:1.

United huffed and puffed in the last 20 minutes, looking for an equaliser, but never really testing Fabianski. Rooney had a glorious chance late on but was too slow to shoot and Williams tackled.

That's three defeats on the trot against Swansea and a familiar story to last season really. Not good.

Make Basti captain and play Rooney only when needed. Stop relying on Depay to save our skin. He's still young and inexperienced.

Rooney's typically going to take another few weeks to round into form. Same thing every year with him and Carrick.
He's only started slowly lately because he's been not at his best throughout those seasons. His 2 best scoring seasons he got 5 in the first 5 league games (as well as a goal in the Community Shield) and 9 in the first 5 league games. He'll improve but he's just sub par these days for United's main striker, particularly given he has zero competition.

If Fellaini is the answer. What the hell is the question?

Why is anyone surprised that Rooney plays a full 90? Didn't LvG say he has a hand in team selection? Rooney is undroppable or else he will throw a fit and LvG doesn't want that. The situation with the keepers is embarrassing and the fact we have Wayne Rooney as our best striker is worrying. We did well to strengthen midfield but who knew it would be at the expense of every other positional line in the team?

Glad you have finally woke up to what others said 2 weeks ago.
honestly thought we might have turned a corner defensively after the good first games we had but I was wrong looking at today's performance

not jumping to any more conclusions at the moment but I don't like where this is going.

Absolutely pathetic performance that. No ability to drive forward and push for an equaliser. Special mention to the referee, one of the most one-sided performances I've ever seen.

And yet again we fail to know what the fecking time is.
