If were gonna have feck all coming from the striker, wouldn't it be better to put Wilson in there and see what he can do.

Well played Gary Monk. I'm giving him credit for the three points there. Made a really interesting change at about 60 minutes to try and goad Shaw into getting trapped upfield so they could counter-attack us and in occupying our non-real defender Daley Blind by putting two up top so Smalling couldn't just come across and dominate everything in the air as he was doing.

fecks sake, 3rd defeat on the trot to Swansea. Or is it 4 now? Don't remember if the fa cup loss to swansea under moyes was before or after the league win.

Romero lost that for us. Shite keeper. Rooney should've had a couple of goals at least today with his chances in behind

Do we even need that? I mean we have Chicharito and Wilson and Fellaini and Januzaj can do a job there as well, nah?
yep, we don't need new players, we just need to give time to those world beaters you mentioned

Dont really see the point in LvG staying. His decisions are baffling. What a mistake it was to make Rooney captain. Our football is fecking shocking to watch. We spent a ton of money, yet we still have clear weaknesses across our team. I dont see what Van Gaal offers at all.

Another great record set Louis! 50th game and you lost. I don't want this guy in charge for a 100th

Hope this means we're a striker before the window closes..Title is already City's to lose because they look miles ahead of us and other contenders...

Thought Swansea were going to equalise after we scored. We just became a tad overconfident. Then we needed to keep our cool and our shape and concentration and be patient.

No other coaching staff in the entire world sits on the bench. Just us. Its been a huge gripe of mine and it DOES fecking matter. All the top managers do it and LVG himself was the same in his younger years.
aye, its not a good sign when losing doesn't evoke a bit of passion from the management.. is this what we can expect from now on?

Pathetic up front yet again, 4 league games and still not getting any better. And the keeper is atrocious, LVG better bring in a striker, winger and keeper or we will struggle for the season.

Rooney created the opportunity out of nothing with his touch.

Blaming Rooney is seeing the surface symptoms instead of the underlying cause

There's that and there's people shitting themselves saying we don't have a chance vs liverpool, city will smash us, enjoy the top 4 because we aren't getting it this season, etc... The worst type of people, forever pessimisstic
This is exactly why I avoid posting in this forum these days. It's nothing more than hyperbole-spewing, revisionist nonsense perpetuated by people who either have an agenda or just think that transfer windows are an easy fix and every player on the planet is available to buy. These are the same people who compare LVG with Moyes with no hint of irony whatsoever. I'm hearing now how United are shit, how we're going to get spanked by anyone half-decent and top four is nothing but a pipe dream despite us actually competing again in CL this season. Yeah this game has been horrible to watch and we've been done AGAIN by Swansea but it doesn't mean that that's it for us after five games.

But you know, maybe they're right. Let's sell Rooney, let's sell Blind and Mata, let's sack LVG and bring in Gary Monk instead and when that goes tits up, we can sack the board, sell the club and amalgamate with Manchester City so that we can buy all the top players in the world and be the best again. Because, after all, having the best bunch of players is the most important thing ever.

This! No one is scared of us. We should have lost to a shockingly bad Newcastle side

I thought he played for the pen. 2 brilliant touches then his 3rd is poor and he accidentally goes back across to give defender opportunity to get in /muscle him away.
If he wants to play for the penalty, he should put his body between the defender and the ball. Instead, he just moves away to the left to allow Williams to just pop in and nick the ball without having to get near his body.

A few things (more than a few)

    • We need additions in attack and Rooney needs a few games out
    • We simply play too many sideways balls
    • Atkinson gave us nothing
    • Depay and Schweinsteiger looked tired
    • We weren't spread the play wide enough until Young came on
    • The Caf has no idea about football as we thought we started our strongest XI

The sense of urgency on our part there are the end...
A bit too late in the game, plus credit to Swansea not letting loose one bit. Teams playing us are very confident nowadays. United has spent a lot but still there's no fear factor to be restored.

He was hugging the touchline all game. Don't know what type of strategy that was.
I thought this lad was supposed to be the next Ronaldo? Fat Ronaldo at the end of his career more like.. No running, just wanting the ball to his feet, come inside and then waste a worthless cross into the box that has one striker in there.. this lad was supposed to be the answer for goals from midfield!! We'll be waiting a while for that I reckon

Nothing better than losing before an international break and having to wait 2 weeks for the chance to bounce back.

Van Gaal should be sacked if Pep becomes available next season. Can't allow him to join City.

Are you serious? Herrera was wasted today. Sure he sent mata once through but other than that he did little to nothing
Let's just conveniently forget the through ball he made for Rooney which he comically didn't make use of or the ball in the first half to Mata which he shot wide of the goal. He did the best out of all our attacking players tonight (which wasn't hard to do).

Rooney is a waste of a shirt I have a lot of time for LVG and if he cannot see past Rooney is past his sell by date then he is not going to be here next season. Herrera was far mor effective in the 10 but gets subbed again.

Louis Van Gaal can eat a bag of fecking dicks.

3 goals in 4 games. No attacking threat. Sell Di Maria, don't repalce him. No depth. One striker. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, hoof.

Credit to Swansea, there a good side who play decent football.

We were tactically poor and have players in the squad who aren't good enough. The substitution bring Carrick on was stupid, LVG really doesn't fill me with confidence. I feel he still doesn't understand the league.

Something needs to happen with Wayne because before long the fans will turn, he isn't good enough to justify his powerful position at the club and his elite level salary, doesn't even appear to 'give 100%' as the pundits like to blabber on about. Absolutely sick of him.

Please please please sign a decent forward. Doesn't even need to be top bracket to be a significant improvement on what we've got, jesus christ I'd take Giroud of the shower we have at the moment.
