Ashley Williams just said that if Rooney shot earlier he wouldn't have gotten there. Rooney hesitated too many times this game.

Is there a player out there for us that you could say has a free reign to go and do what they want? No! Too rigid and players aren't being allowed to express themselves..
Totally agree and that's on the manager for not changing his dull philosophy. Its not just one loss that it has me questioning LVG, we have struggled all season and things are not getting any better. Rooney just doesn't have what it takes in this philosophy and we need an alternative up front and fast, were fast turning into Chelsea.

Really disappointing result. Granted, Swansea away will be difficult for every side in the league, but it's a very poor result as we were leading with 30 minutes to go and were controlling the game before their equalizer. I knew it was far from over when Mata scored, though. They're just our bogey team and I hate Monk's fecking smug face.

Our defense was very poor today. Smalling fell asleep for Gomis' goal and was very shaky as a whole. Blind wasn't better and their two goals were created from Shaw's side. He was caught out of position for their equalizer because of Rooney's shit mistake, but Ayew shitting on our whole defense with a single pass is unforgivable.

Memphis was shit, but he's still young and it isn't his fault that we're relying on him to be our attacking force in every single game. He's only 21, you can't expect such consistency from him. We've fecked up with not strenghtening our attack and it has cost us points for the second week in a row.

Mata's only bright moment was his goal. He didn't offer anything significant down the right and Rooney had several brainfarts while in clear positions to score. Took too long to decide what to do and Williams denied him every single time.

Now we're 5 points behind City who've just splashed the cash on De Bruyne despite winning 4 out of 4 and thanks to the fecking international break we'll have to wait 2 fecking weeks before our next game.

Are you serious? Herrera was wasted today. Sure he sent mata once through but other than that he did little to nothing
He played Rooney in at least three times.

Blind could not handle Gomis all game. He was too strong, too big, too fast.

And Romero has managed two or three mistakes per game at a minimum, today's goal isn't strange, what's strange is that it hadn't happened already.

And yet another game where we didn't create chances. Mata was the only player who managed to get behind the defence and shoot. Did it three times, scored once. For some reason this lead to him being the first subbed off.

I can't say I'm happy. Van Gaal's United is the most dull United I've ever seen, his substitutions don't make sense and the squad is somehow weaker in several key areas (striker, centre back, goalkeeper) than it was last season.

The ever changing elusive philosophy remains non existent. Bring on Fellaini and the players pass a free kick back to the half way line and keep the ball there. No ideas, no creativity, no plan, no points.

I didn't think it was as bad as some think. We're just missing something extra up top. Have a big problem because Rooney just can't cut it anymore but he's got a big fat stinking contract. The other guys worked their buts off with the exception of a couple of bad decision making, but when they move forward, Rooney not offering them much. I dunno what's going to happen at this rate.

How bloody condescending of him
Teams now taking the bloody piss out of us.
Soon we'll have Watford and Bournemouth saying. " I'm sure they'll be alright, they're a big club"

His response was taking off the only player who managed any successful through balls, Ander Herrera. Just don't know what to say.
That, and also the point is when Swansea was changing their shape our manager has done nothing to counter that. It's very hard to speculate what strategy and coping plot in LvG's head because I am not sure if he knows it himself. Credit to Swansea but we do have outfield players on paper to cope ffs. The keeper had not been really tested in the past three games but Swansea's today have proved Romero can never be our number 1.

You would think after losing 6 points to Swansea last season would be lesson learned. Nothing was learned.

I think he actually did say we're a better club than last year. Totally went over my head how condescending it really was :wenger:

We might need to start writing to LvG to tell him that. He needs to know what fans think

Memphis is just a waste of space currently
Fact of matter is, he's young and i experienced but he's being given the responsibility to make things happen. When he's not performing, he's not being taken off.

Little pea is on the bench not being used. Why???!!! Oh I forgot he couldn't even score a peno eh!

Don't worry we will have another imaginary 150 million available next transfer window and can get the best of the best. Or at least bid for them. Our net spend this window( not closed yet I know) has been 8 million. Less than Arsenal Chelsea Manchester City, Stoke , Norwich, West Brom, and West ham. If De Gea goes for 29 million, and we buy no one else, we will actually be in 21 million. That would be a great bit of business by Woody for the club(or the Glazers). He may have missed Pedro but on the same day he missed out there, he did manage to get a new casino sponsor "Donaco". He did say we have other targets and Pedro would soon be forgotten, and he still has time. Come on Ed get your finger out and take action and stop talking.

yeah thats right lose our first match of the season and call for the mangers head.

I didnt really call for his head. It's been a year now, I just dont see any progress. I don't really what his philosophy is, either, aside from playing very cautiously. It's bloody frustrating. I can be gratious in defeat but when we offered absolutely nothing after going behind, then that's hard to take. It's been a recurring theme with Van Gaal and this Man Utd team. We've no fecking guts what so ever. The buck stops with the manager here, in my opinion.

Chelsea were consistently a top 5 side before the Oligarch. Swansea are a mid table club that have been in the PL for as long as Rooney's feckin hair transplant.
Chelsea were always a decent side that had some fantastic players
I fail to see the same in a side that will lose to other mid table contenders
Have a feeling you may be too young to remember, I'm talking way pre-Abramovich when they were worse than Swansea are now

If the Little Pea and DdG rumours are true then we've just signed the sponsorship deal of the century and managed to end up £50m in credit :keano:

Credit to Gary Monk who was able to change thing and drove his players.... We were all over the place and couldn't cope. They deserve to win. We deserve to lose because we couldn't cope as there was no tactic used on our part!
