We're not signing else are we. Madness
Seems like Van Gaal is going to give the youngsters a go. We're really light up front but I guess he thinks Fellaini can be the backup #9 while Periera and Lingard can cover for Adnan

1.5 hours to go till the window shuts. Was really hoping we had a last minute surprise signing lined up.

This martial deal is taking a while. ...

I wonder if the ddg money was supposed to be used for that. ...

Ooooohhhhhhhh
The deal is done I'm sure, we're probably just preparing a statement on DDG as well. Release that and then quickly announce Martial right after. Doubt we have anyone else coming in

DDG being offered a new deal doesn't mean he will sign it. I fully expect us to try and convince him to sign a new one and leave next year.
A deal was and always has been offered and on the table.
DDG refuses to sign/accept it.
So the fact that MUFC are going to "re-offer" it, makes no sense. It's already on the table.
I think fans are getting excited over nothing. DDG wants to leave and I think we all need to accept that.
It will happen either in January or next Summer.

My take on this is that Real NEVER wanted this deal to happen.

They are happy with a keeper they have and preferred to wait another season to get DDG for free. The rest has been pure posturing because they had promised to get DDG to their fans and engineered yesterday's histrionics so that they could blame United and strengthen DDG's anti-United feelings.

The fact they are not prepared to appeal confirms this.
And also the fact fifa transfer system received all of United's documents but did not receive Real Madrid's at all.

Surely this is a joke.
Why are we paying so much money for a teenager.
I can understand paying big for an English teenager, but a French teenager?
I hope LVG knows something that we don't.

You need to see the add-ons. All related to huge accomplishments, so if we end up paying them it will be because he is worth it.

nah, no way we would shy away from that price. Rues prob doesn't want the move.

Don't have a problem with the fee personally. Monaco didn't want to sell him and most of the reaction is how it's been reported. It was reported in such a way that was abhorrent. We'll need to see what he can bring to the team and that will be his true worth to us.

I will be surprised if the club was unwilling to meet that demand for a world class player like Reus, especially seeing our net spend is low and we have had a lot of wages off the book.

So...we will pay that for Martial but not Reus? Logical. Don't get me wrong, I think Martial will be worth it in the end but to pass up on Reus because of that price is insane.

That Reus news is bollocks, they'd not have named a price when they had no time to bring in a replacement...

If the variables are heavily based on stretch goals (e.g. Champions League win) I think the add on price is just fine.
Winning the golden boot 3 times in the PL, winning the golden boy and winning the ballon d'or
