In an apple vacuum...
Thought Navas might have saved his job for at least another week with that last minute block on Negredo, looks like he might be gone though.

Crap I can't be far off the Benitez raffle.

Only good thing to come of this is that Santiago Solari won't be on ESPN FC anymore.

Tbf, Big Sam is more suited to the likes of Real than Blackburn and Sunderland. He's just never had a chance.
I love big sam, never given the respect he deserves because he wasnt fashionable enough to be given a crack at the big boys.

Also Zidane will be a nice experiment to see how Giggs would fare, as its a preetty close comparison of the situation.

Whats this say?
Jonas Giæver: And here we go. Several now saying that Rafael Benítez has indeed been sacked as Real Madrid manager, and that Zinédine Zidane takes over.

There is expected to be an announcement later on today confirming this. Santiago Solari is rumoured to come in as Zidane's no.2.

Several Spanish outlets reporting that a press conference will be held at 17:30 Madrid time confirming all of this.

Would be great if Madrid put Zidane in place and he flops big time. Would love to see how they / Perez handles that

What's the point in waiting for a press conference. The whole world seems to know, just announce it on the website.

Surely it has to come to a point where top managers will refuse to work at that circus? Or is it just an easy payoff? Work for half a season then get paid millions to be sacked, good way of making money i guess.
