Can someone explain to me what the feck is sneiderlins role.
We are playing 2 centre backs. So are we playing 2 defensive midfielders in front of them? Not talking about his skill but i am seeing MF pop up in attacking positions and also point up as a covering defender in our box. So what am in seeing MS do apart from next to feck all? Either leave MF as a DM and get Mata on up the middle or push MF further up to get possession and tell MS to pull his fecking finger out.

    • No pressing when you're playing against Sakho. God I hate that.
    • We massively miss decent fullbacks.
    • As Liverpool DO press, passing it around the defence then finally going long to Fellaini is ridiculous. If you've got Fellaini on just use him. Long ball may be shit but it's playing to our strengths.

The support is class. The football is shit. Fellaini is slower and more awful to watch than a slug sliding through salt.

Felli better be hauled off in the second half, and bring on pereira. But I know that would never happen.

We've got no idea whatsoever of how to build an attack other than to give it to Martial and hope for the best.

Just empty. Only moments you feel something might happen is when Martial gets it.

Boring, crappy, but not surprisng anymore. The quality of everything we do is really really poor.

Weve set up to not lose rather than to win (like we went for it last year).

We wont see the full potential of some of these players until our next manager imo. Its annoying cos its not even about just making top four, its just boring to watch. You know what youre going to get, msot of the time, 0-0 at half time, hardly any chances and looking to nick one like were Wolves playing Barca...

I think Pereira offer alot more going forward.
To be fair to Lingard, he's done some decent defensive work a couple times, but with Fellaini and Schneiderlin as CM, he shouldn't need to. Put on some attacking flair, A.K.A Pereira.

Well that was an absolute nothing half of football from us. Basically created nothing and the only time we looked anyway dangerous was that one run by Martial. That's about it. Must say it's a blow to lose Young too.

Missing Bastian and Carrick badly and can't put spells of possession together to progress us up the pitch. Forwards are too isolated Rooney has two CB's on top of him.

Memphis and Mata on for Fellaini and Herrera. Martial up top and Rooney alongside Schneiderlin.

Still wank but pretty much our only hope.

Fellaini been our best player imo. Done some vital defensive work and gotten around the pitch a lot. Not a fan at all but credit where it's due.

Hard to see where a goal will come from.
They won't admit it pal. He is doing his job and MS job.

We are shooting ourselves in the foot. To beat the press we need Fellaini further forward, possible even as a number 9 and let Herrera get closer to Schneiderlin in a midfield 2. Lingard needs to come off for Depay and Rooney should come a bit deeper to shore up the midfield. This imo is the only way it'll at the very least remain nil-nil. We are so shit lol.

I say we bring on Pereira for Fellaini. We need a midfielder that can run at the defence from the middle. The combo of Rooney and Fellaini is never going to scare either Sakho or Toure

We've been responsible for some truly dreadful matches this season. This could be right up there with City.

Herrera has been shit. We even lost the possession. I hope there is a result and not a draw. A draw does nothing for us. Lose and Lvg is under Pressure.Win and hope comes to us.

The biggest annoyance for me is we lack so much energy and effort.

On the ball we walk around the pitch instead of running, when we lose the ball we go in half hearted and weak.

There's no commitment and a real lack of effort generally. Out front 4 are invisible apart from flashes of martial, but that's nowhere near good enough.

Fellaini is awful, aerially he should dominate. But the majority of times he rarely challenges and he got out jumped by Lucas

Jesse has been poor, I'd take him off.

Also Blind's corners are shocking as always.

Good spot for United. Got dominated, held the tie and we are still due the Liverpool goalie mistake. Not sure why United aren´t playing more for crosses and deflections for corners. Don´t need possession against Pool (not that they had any), you need set pieces.

Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso & Torres v Vidic, Ferdinand, Ronaldo, prime Rooney, Tevez & Evra.

Henderson, Milner, Toure v Young, Fellaini, Borthwick-Jackson & Lingaard.

How far both teams have fallen.
