You're probably right, I was just surprised he subbed him off so quickly into the 2nd half.
That was so he got his big round of applause.

Also, Rashford for Rooney was kind of a symbolic passing of the torch moment.

Rooney will probably be subbed back on later.

Commentators spoke that ideally Jose wanted to sub him at half, but guessing left him longer so he could get some love from the crowd during the substitution.

First half was quite fun at times, but the second half so far has been slow, boring and lacked goals.

Much like Rooney's career, then.

Will say it agian, John Stones is absolutely shite
He isn't. He's very poor defensively but very good with the ball at his feet.

I do hope City sign him though, he is constantly a mistake waiting to happen.

"Marcus, Marcus stay in the middle"

"Marcus, Marcus movement"

It's refreshing to hear instructions from the manager after 3 years of the notepad.

A defender who is poor defensively is shite.

Players who pretty much did nothing before they joined us or after they left. Same goes for plenty of Champions League winners of the past. The names Luiz Gustavo, Dante, Eric Abidal and Casemiro come to mind. Stop acting as though a team need 22 world established names to compete.
wtf?
And most of those that you mentioned are/were great players

You want a defender to be able to somewhat defend though.
