How about creating two clubs in the PL and putting all of us in those? Create a rivalry between the two clubs and post updates on the clubs rather than individual progress.
Within a few seasons most of the players will be at different clubs so though it might work for a season or two it ends up being more work as Burrow would then have to post updates on those two clubs as well as the individuals who aren't there anymore.
I'd say 16 players is a good number.
Can't you stop that with favoured club, disliked club, personal plans, loyalty 20 etc?
Would be a bit shit though with all those set as most of the players in the experiment seem to be attacks. If there had been a quota on position beforehand it might have worked.
Surely it isn't worse than tinkering with the budget in the editor and give them insane long-term contracts that can't be matched elsewhere?
Anyway I'm sure Burrow has a plan and isn't going to lose his shit and panic when he comes on.
