Didnt Sanchez get called up for a handball? And the only handball you can give now is a deliberate handball? And a deliberate handball is a yellow card? And he's already on a yellow card?

Marriner can shove that fecking whistle up his arse, the bottling bastard.

We could easily be ahead, some nice sighters of goal. This team are starting to play, Pogba's getting more involved and we're starting to look assured.

Neville saying there's a question over the intent - that's not how it works. Unintentional or not he clearly impeded Valencia without getting anything on the ball
How can he say about intent? Nobody intends to give a penalty away. No wonder he keeps getting sacked as a coach.

What is Pogba's best position honetsly. He is almost always the weakest link in the midfield

Rashford Mata Valencia and Carrick have been very good.

We sitting too deep and slow to react when we win balls

We really had some rotten luck this season
Two major decisions haven't gone our way.

Sanchez wasn't sent off (for diving - and thus Darmian wouldn't have got the yellow)
The penalty on Valencia wasn't given
That was Walcott, and to be fair it looked a foul and a stonewall yellow at first sight

The pen though is as blatant as it gets. I mean normally commentators and pundits discuss whether there is contact as the deciding. Well, this was a fecking rugby challenge and somehow that twat Marriner decided it was ok

Maybe the ref would have to send of Monreal if he gave the pen, might be why he didn't give it

Unbelievable. Again robbed of a penalty. How many times is this gonna happen? The guy leans his whole body into Tony, and puts his arm over his knees. How did the ref not give that?

Attacking wise Arsenal have done nothing. We have really shut them out.

Am I the only one who doesn't feel the pen incident was a stonewaller? Not like Monreal came in Valencia's back, it was from the side and hardly a push.

Neville should stick to studio analysis because his instincts for calling incidents on the fly is shite.

Arsenal as usual relying Sanchez to do all the work. Özil and Walcott invisible except for nutmegging Carrick and the other one diving. Ramsey does his usual uneffective headless chicken impression and Elneny is a donkey.

We really should've scored at some point that half. Good performances from Valencia and Pogba in particular. Martial really needs to get at Jenkinson far more though.

That was a good half, we look more likely to score. More of the same in second half boys.

Really good first half. First booking for Darmien was a joke, suppose it's kinda even now as his second challenge was a clear booking.

To me, it looked like the defender deliberately extended his fall in order to obstruct Valencia with his arms. Surely a penalty

Should have had a penalty. Not sure what Neville and Redknapp are seeing. It's an arm across his legs. Anywhere else on the pitch, it's a free kick. You can't just let it go because it's in the box. He doesn't play the ball.

The Darmian booking was a joke as well. Walcott just gives up and does a knee slide.

I've liked Rojo at CB the last few weeks, but he's making me nervous. He might be more one footed than Valencia, if such a level of one footedness could even exist.

Not a bad half by our shite standards. We are a bogey team to Arsenal in recent years though.

Some of the link up play on the edge of the box with Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Rashford and Martial has been superb.

If only Valencia had a left foot
He'd be one of the best players in the world if he had a left foot, it confounds me that nobody has stuck him in front of a wall and forced him to kick with his left until it's useful.
