    Red Card for Casemiro!
It's really hard to believe the referees don't hate United - we never get good decisions under Mourinho. Given Mourinho's comments against them over the last few years, it is understandable.

    Really good first half performance.
Everything but the goal(s), which hopefully will come with continued pressure in second half.

Definite pen too, looked like ref had a great view of it...bottled it big time.

Also I think Pogba has been a massive influence, most of our chances have come through his class interplay.

We've seen an angle on the replay from behind and that's the view Andre Marriner had. But you can still see Monreal's arm come across Valencia.

Mark Lawrenson: No, I have to say in that position, it's quite natural. No penalty.

    Decent enough half.

Think Jones and Rojo have been fantastic defensively.

Mata and Valencia have been our best attacking players, in my opinion.

We do need to be mindful of whats in behind our midfield. A few times Sanchez has popped up in between the lines with no one around him.

I love how the fact that Valencia is strong is being factored into this. He's strong so therefore he shouldn't earn a penalty.

One thing I like about Pogba, despite giving the ball away alot, he doesnt lose his confidence, his passing, dribbling, and chances created are the best in our teams, the boy is very talented, just needs to learn when to keep it simple to stop giving he ball away so much

I feel more and more apathy for this squad with each passing game. The lack of energy, conviction, desire is so demoralising.

Why do we take so long to do things? 30 seconds for a goal kick, twenty seconds for a thrown in, too slow to win the 50/50s... amble around in midfield. Why, when we know that playing with tempo is so effective, do we struggle find any with regularity?

The bursts of speed and movement we've shown in flashes in the first half has, unsurprisingly, seen us create chances.

Just show a bit of heart, please. Little wonder the atmosphere is so flat, an early kick-off, coupled with pedestrian football, is going to do little to lift the crowd.

Honestly don't think it's a penalty, Souness is correct to an extent, Valencia puts his arm into Monreal's face.

What is Pogba's best position honetsly. He is almost always the weakest link in the midfield

Rashford Mata Valencia and Carrick have been very good.

We sitting too deep and slow to react when we win balls
Are you watching the game? Pogba has been influential in creating some of our chances?

Stop trying to be fashionable and hating on Pogba, he's playing well.

    Non decisions
Andre Marriner was booed as he headed down the tunnel and it was deserved.

United have suffered some terrible non-decisions against them this season: Bravo on Rooney, the foul on Martial at Watford in the build-up to their goal, Luiz’s challenge on Fellaini, the non-penalty after Flanagan clipped Darmian and now today’s.

Mourinho might be talking about another ‘campaign’ later.

Came alive more in the last 15 mins. Was tight in the opening 30. We look much better then them though, their only danger men are sanchez and ozil obviously. Martial I'd like to get more involved as he can destroy Jenkinson if he is on it. Pen was a pen, you cant put your arm across someone, though a bit soft as Valencia was going down easily. We need to push on though. A win here will be a huge encouragement to us.

Borderline penalty for me. Not sure it's as clearcut as many on here making out.

Even if we go on to lose this.. it is clear that Jose knows what he is doing and that this team is progressing. Clear to see. We played some excellent football in that first half. Worried about Martial though, he seems so subdued.. yet still looks a threat.

Or maybe our defensive players are doing well? I know it's not fashionable to praise Rojo and co but credit where it's due.
Yeah defensively you guys have done well but its not necessarily down to the back four. It's more down to better organization, maintaining shape etc and that comes from all over the pitch not just back 4.

Here we go … Sourness will say United are being overly aggressive. And it's not good football because the right team aren't winning!
Yet if we weren't as adventurous we'd be ''parking the bus'' ... there's no pleasing that ABU cnut.

It's a pity that United didn't get a goal in the first half...

I wonder if the goal would be possible but that Arsenal team can be beaten in my opinion.

The fitness of the squad is clearly low. I think that pre season in china really did a number on us personally, we can't keep up any intensity at all.

I'm a big fan, but I'd trade with PSG for Marco in a second.

He's put his arm across him. Doesn't matter if it was a weak block, he's still obstructing the player and preventing him from reaching the ball. Has to be a penalty.

It is not a natural position. It is actually braindead the way Monreal defended. If that was Rojo or Jones, they would get slaughtered. You cant just defend the way he did with his arm and not expect a penalty.
