He looks better physically, it has little to do with the Ligue 1. We gambled on a player who barely recovered from a horrible injury. He'll never go back to his best obviously.

Monaco look very impressive. They might take the title from PSG this season.
Even when he was destroying us every season I had a lot of respect for this guy. Hopefully he continues playing like this.

I'm sorry but he's washed up, it just further proves how poor the French league actually is.
It proves nothing. He is playing in a team that is creating lots of scoring chances so he was always bound to score more (unlike Chelsea and United before).
I haven't watched him but I imagine he's just adapted his game to suit his loss of pace, there was always a good footballer in there even when he was here.

He is a very good striker when hes fit and firing. Although I do rate Ligue 1 alongside SPL so I am not surprised he bags for fun there.

They're both absolutely dominated by 1 side, year in year out zero competition. And the league is not competitive really is it? What league does that remind me of....
Do you honestly think Aberdeen, Dundee, Monaco, Lille, Lyon, OM etc go into a season genuinely thinking they can win it? Not a chance. 1 team league, end of.
Of course they do, particularly the French sides. I doubt their odds are anywhere close to Leicester's 5000-1
They dont "really" belive theyre going to win it, lets be honest. If theyre being dead serious theyd admit it. PSG will monopolise that league like Celtic do. Until someone can compete with them for cash...

I'm not a betting man, but I don't think PSG if they win, win it by 10-15 points.
Just like the Bundesliga and Spanish league are dominated by 1-2 sides, would you put them in the same bracket aswell?
It isnt SPL level in terms of ability, but if nothing changes over next 10yrs... PSG will win it every single one of those years. Theyll win it this yr too. Just as Celtic will.
If PSG or Celtic were in La Liga or EPL... they would not win it every year. The leagues are more competitive
La Liga could go to either Madrid or Barca. Bundesliga, im not sure of current standings...but itll be bayern or dortmund i imagine
Were you not commenting on Falcaos performances though? You sure made it sound like you were discrediting Falcaos performances due to the general ability of the league.
If so then what does PSGs domination of the league in recent years have to do with it, you realise he doesn't play for them right? And him bringing Monaco to the top of the table kind of refutes your point of Ligue 1 as a one team league anyway, whatever your point is, i'm not sure..
didn't work out for us sadly but still glad to hear he's doing well.
They weren't creating as many that is for sure and Falcao was still getting recovering physically and mentally from a knee injury. It takes a couple of minutes to see that his movement is better, that he isn't "afraid" of physical contacts anymore. Better confidence in his body + more chances created will definitely equal more goals scored.
It is currently competitive and this is fact. Whether PSG ends up winning it or not, this current fact will be the same. We cannot judge him predict the future with that kinda certainty otherwise I'm sure you'd have said in the summer that PSG would be easily cruising right now.

I think Falcao is a very very good striker... but was not used enough at utd or Chelsea. And the revisionism over him is quite sad. I do think the general lesser quality in the Ligue 1 over the EPL is one of the reasons. Yes.

The quality is better in those leagues arguably... but you can make a case for more than 1 team potentially winning them.
I see you support ligue 1, but dont even try pretend you can see anyone other than psg winning it?
I say PSG dominate it and will do for yrs to come until they can be matched money wise. But i also think the general quality of the league is poor compared to rest of europe. (in some cases)
And i am not the only person to think this.

Well Monaco's roster is on par with PSG's and their manager is as good, the only interrogation around Monaco was Bakayoko-Fabinho and they are playing at a higher level than their PSG equivalent. Lyon should have been up there but something is rotten in that locker room and finally Nice brought Favre who is by far the best manager in the league and they were probably the second best team in the league last season, they lacked depth and experience which they brought this season.
So yeah, anyone other than PSG can win, they are favorite because they are the most experienced team but quality wise they are not miles ahead of Monaco or Nice.
Yep PSG are running away with it at the
minute, so many points ahead of the rest that they will probably once again confirm the title in January!!!!
