 There's a few of you for sure. I don't hate him yet, because I don't believe everything he said as a candidate he truly believes or will progress with.
Now if that changes as a President, I'll hate him.
He's a sociopath that has deliberately set out to destroy peoples lives on the basis of them doing something that mildly annoyed him in passing in the past. If you don't hate him, I suggest you read up on him.

Is there anyone here who actually supports Trump?
I don't like the guy either, and I can't exactly say I support him, but I am willing to give him a chance, because as much as we hate to admit it he's proven so many of his doubters wrong already and I can only hope he continues to defy naysayers, for the better of course. (doesn't mean I'm expecting much)

Oh I know all about his past, especially with respects to housing discrimination. But again, for me personally I don't hate someone unless they've done something personally to affect me, someone I know or someone I care about about.
Doesn't mean I don't despise the man.

Never mind how many campaign promises he broke (even in his first month).

Indeed Americans have short memory, but not only them, its a global phenomena.
Never mind a Congress that did nothing for over 6 years. Americans continually aim their disgust at the wrong branch of government. They keep electing these guys to congress in their cushy jobs while changing Presidents and expecting things to drastically change. Obama wasn't a perfect president by any means but there's no doubt to many that he tried to do the right thing.

Fair enough, I have more hate to spread around. ;)

This is so much bullshit, whoever the president will be. All those high-level people there don't give a single feck about you and me, the "average citizens".

I've always known him as a vengeful person like you have but that begs another question - will trump actually prosecute hillary? I know it sounds crazy and silly but it IS trump we're talking about.

she is more useful as a figure to hate - prosecuting her runs the risk of her being found innocent... well unless he appoints the judge and jury and removes that risk which in truth I wouldn't completely put past him

Same here, I'm not too worried but i don't care that much either.

I only asked because it's kinda boring when everyone seems to have the same opinion about stuff in one thread.

Donald Trump is a unifying figure... the Bernie x Hillary discussions a year or so ago were more heated.

These generalizations are annoying. They aren't all the same ffs.

Bush for all his flaws, tried to set up a national education policy, Obama genuinely believes in Universal health care (Trump believes in some form of it....Republicans in Congress DON'T). Obama and Trump have different views on things like NAFTA - these things DO matter to the average joe.

what a diverse crowd....so much economic anxiety. I hope they can handle all the excitement.

I know I've been hating on Trump for 18 months now...but, I'd rather Trump than Mike Pence.
