yay, lets laugh at Liverpool and their big issue seller lookalike manager while we languish in mid table mediocrity and jealously look up at them 9 points above us in the table.

Hmm.

Just to rub it in, the showboaters even have the audacity to score 3 goals and lose.

Yes, let's all laugh as we sit 9 points behind them :)
Unfortunately for you the title and final position isn't determined in December. Then again, if it was you would still end up with sweet FA.

I have a funny feeling that the second half of the season is going to be more fun for us than yourselves. Not that we will win the league, but we will witness another "You nearly won the league" season from Liverpool causing an immense and very emotional "Next year is our year" meltdown, whilst we do quite well in the cups and EL.

Let the show begin.

Please.

The funniest Liverpool moment in recent memory came when we were 20 points behind them!

Imagine making a blanket rule that you can't laugh at your rivals if they're having a better season than you. Football would be terribly dull.

3 1 up see the game out. just because you've scored 3 doesn't mean you have to score 4. if they'd decided to protect their lead they'd have won. but they go all out for goal 4 and picked off

I disagree. My idea would be if you go 3-1 up you keep playing the football that got you into that position. You don't let up, you don't cede the initiative which is what we did and have done several times now.
Certain teams are equipped to defend , Liverpool are not, neither are we.

Yes, they lost and we drew. However they could afford to lose and are still in contention for the title, whereas we could not afford to draw and are still a few points from a top 4 spot. They really do have the last laugh here!

Peter Moore (Yes the Peter Moore of EA) is to become Liverpool's new CEO... http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/ann...to-be-appointed-lfc-s-chief-executive-officer

Liverpool Football Club has named Peter Moore as its new chief executive officer.

Liverpool-born Moore will take up his new role in June and report directly to the club’s owners, Fenway Sports Group.

The 61-year-old is currently chief competition officer at Electronic Arts, based in the United States, and will move to Liverpool to join the club in the summer. His nearly 10 years at EA have seen him in a number of leadership positions, including chief operating officer and president of EA SPORTS.

Moore has previously held senior roles with Microsoft, SEGA and Reebok. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Keele University in the UK and a master’s degree from California State University.

The appointment completes a 10-month transition plan by FSG and finalises the senior management structure at the club.
