The upside of having to play a lot of matches generally means the team is being successful.
In 2012/13 there was a team that played 69 matches, won the Europa trophy, finished 3rd in the league and reached semi finals of both domestic comps whilst being run by a coach they were not fond of.
Am sure there will be other similar stats by other clubs in years before that.
So what that Utd might end up playing 62 matches.....he is meant to be a great manager...embrace it and deal with it instead of bitching about it
