Its a joke. Clubs a laughing stock
    Absolute joke, what a state!
Horrific line up, fecking Young slimes in out of nowhere, the giant turd starting and our only actual goal scorer on the bench, cowardball from Jose.
Whats the point of that team? lol. 3-0 United
We just don't give a shit about the league do we?
WTF is that team, not a chance we are winning today.
Wow, that team is so uninspiring.
I think i just vomited a little at that team
    That lineup

Our club has truly gone down the shitter.
Disgusting team lineup. Young as captain? Jesus ducking Christ. Such an uninspiring team.
Wow. Shocker of a team. I see what Jose is trying with trying to inject pace into our forward line, but surely picking Lingard and Young over the likes of Mickey is suicidal.
    That line up
    0-3 Chelsea .
Thats a fecking abysmal team when you look at the money we have invested into the squad. This is our answer to playing the best team in the country? Literally only 3 or 4 players from that line up would even get a look in at any other decent club
Mourinho has just performed a tactical masterclass and bamboozled everyone.

No matter how the score ends up, I think a fair few owe our manager an apology.

What a manager. He is the special one.

People are complaining about Fellaini, Young and Lingard - but they have all been superb. Best ever performance by us under Mourinho

Rashford in a league of his own. Thats what happens when we have pace up front instead of big, slow Zlatan
I don't think people should be complaining about any of our players. They've given everything so far

Great first half. Rashford has been amazing.

Pogba looks very casual, apathetic. Not getting into good areas.

It's arguably our most cohesive attacking performance all season. The only thing we're lacking is big names. The ability is there.
Against the performances we had like 15 shots on target just on the first half, instead of these 5?

Next Friday, right? Anyway, great stuff buddy, I fully agree. Some have already given up on the match before it has even started.

To be fair though, Chelsea's been one of the most, if not the most difficult opponent for United in the last ten seasons or so, even when we were mighty during Sir Alex's reign. But it's gotta turn around sooner or later right. I hope and believe that'll be today.
The video is from Friday. See, posters underestimate us. We've been doing well for the first half.

What a surprise, we know far less about football tactics than Jose Mourinho, who'd have thought..
    Mourinho clearly MOTM.

He has set up the team perfectly. Even with key players missing, United have clearly been dominant, and the champions-elect have been utterly and absolutely stifled. They are getting nothing. Costa and Hazard getting frustrated. Pressure is getting to them. Looks like Conte the tactical genius still has much to learn. Time to pay some homage to the true tactical master.

Finally a bit of margin with Herrera's handle before the goal. I don't think those should be called, but it would've been typical for our season if it were.

Costa could've seen red as well, so can't really say we've been that lucky with the ref.

Great performance by us though. Chelsea has been stifled and we've created a few good opportunities.

God, those passes by Pogba. Reminds me of the back-spin Maradona used to put on balls, except he does it with either foot.

I have no idea what's up with the people who aren't happy with his overall contribution today.
He's been miles better than kant'e in this half.

TEAM PERFORMANCE. Everyone's been brilliant. We just need to make sure we continue this in the second half as Chelsea surely won't be this poor again.

Rashford could have got another goal or two if he the instincts of someone like Hernandez. There were several really good crosses that half. I predict a Young assist in the second half.

Outstanding performance so far, utterly dominant. Chelsea have troubled your defence even slightly.

Now lets hope you hold on, Costa gets sent off and we get a few little injuries / reds on he Chelsea side! :D

Brilliant half, but just a half. Just waiting for that drop in intensity and Chelsea inevitably getting constant chances.

    Give peas a chance.
Always good to be reminded, including myself here, that no individuals should be bigger than the team and you've got to be pragmatic and pick the best team and tactics for the job. Chelsea really struggled with our two pacey forwards pressing. Keep it up.
Exactly this. Look at Leicester last season. No players you'd consider 'worldies' really, but for a man they all knew their jobs and had specific roles to play within the team.

So our second string lineup is beating Chelsea, the champions-elect.

Guess we aren't so bad a team after all.

As I've said many times, the two clubs are actually a lot closer than the league table suggests. We are in a false position.
no we are in a position that reflects the results this season. dont get carried away theyre still better

Handball aside I don't understand the ref letting us away with it narrative that's seeping through on Sky Sports.

good half. blatant handball though lol
Not Ander's place to do the referee's job, he still had a lot to do to score from there. If you're the home team and you have a soft ref that you can lean on then you're foolish not to take advantage.

The whole team has battled admirably, deserved lead at half time.

Although I would like to see Mkhi come on for Young at some point in the second half. There'll be many opportunities on the break to seal the game and Mkhi would be so much better there.

When we play like a Mourinho team it actually works.

José's tactics this game has been absolutely fantastic thus far. The real test though, is maintaining this and seeing if we can nick another to win.

I think i said this is what would happen in the ones transfer thread and got laughed at
The notion that Ibra holds back from an attacking persective is definitely plausible. Think back to RVN, the 2 situations are almost identical and Fergie - in his infinite wisdom - made the hard call and sold him to Real for the betterment of the team.

Jose, especially on todays evidence, may have to do the same. Though personally I'd hate to see Ibra leave. I don't envy Jose on this matter.

I just wanna say pace ain't everything. There is games where Zlatan's guile and technique comes in handy and there are games where raw pace is best... Mourinho needs to learn to trust Rashford in said games.

Can we last out in the second half?

Conte will surely react and it's how well our players and Mourinho handle that.

Would love Costa to get sent off
