Strange, esecially against Burnley. They will probably have 10 men behind the ball for the majority of the game.Exactly.

Eh, not Burnley away. It's about fecking time that we put 5 or 6 past someone. Hopefully that day is today.
They're quite good at home tho.Strange, esecially against Burnley. They will probably have 10 men behind the ball for the majority of the game.
That is crazy talk! Darmian isn't even a particularly good full back, let alone centre back. Burnley are going to park the bus and won't offer much going forward, so Blind's passing skills will be useful. I would play Blind, Tuanzebe, TFM or Carrick at centre back before I even considered Darmian.Darmian can do a job at CB. I'd trust him more there than Blind.
How many times has a team scored 5 or 6 in a PL match this season? I think those days are past us, except for perhaps one freak match a season. It's about fecking time that we put 5 or 6 past someone. Hopefully that day is today.
Today is as good a time as any mate. A bloody good showing from our forwards today could be the catalyst to remove any lingering psychological doubts that so many of them seem to be playing with,Eh, not Burnley away.
But for poor finishing and superman like goalkeeping performances, we'd have five or six high scoring matches already this season. How many times has a team scored 5 or 6 in a PL match this season? I think those days are past us, except for perhaps one freak match a season.
Doubt it. In those matches (for example Burnley at OT) where had 132 shots on goal, if we scored a couple we would've sat back at 2-0 / 3-0.But for poor finishing and superman like goalkeeping performances, we'd have five or six high scoring matches already this season.
Of course he'll play. One of their best players and they have a chance to pretty much secure the PL status today.I wonder if Michael keane will play today ? Considering he's current contract situation.
That would be my idea also, but lets just say behind closed doors he has told burnley he is coming back to united next season. (im not saying he is by the way)Of course he'll play. One of their best players and they have a chance to pretty much secure the PL status today.
Well we can create any scenario we want, but I doubt that has happened, so he'll play. If it did, I'd play him until Burnley were safe and after that perhaps consider dropping him IF there was some contract dispute. That would be my idea also, but lets just say behind closed doors he has told burnley he is coming back to united next season. (im not saying he is by the way)
If you was dyche and this happened, would you play him ?
Valencia hasn't travelled. I wouldn't play the whole trio of Pogba-Micki-Rashford after all completing 120 minutes on Thursday night.---------------DDG---------------------
---Darmian---Bailly-----Blind---------
Valencia--Herrera--Fellaini----Young
----------------Pogba-----------------
------Mkhitaryan--Rashford----------
Bench: Romero, TFM, Shaw, Carrick, Rooney, Martial, Lingard
It's unlikely but if that scenario has happened then I would expect Dyche to play him. He's their best defender and will want to play as well as he can to impress Jose. That would be my idea also, but lets just say behind closed doors he has told burnley he is coming back to united next season. I hope you mean that he is being rested.Tweet

So Valencia's out.
I think it's Lingard-Rashford-Rooney.I expect Lingard-Rooney-Martial up front. And no I'm not trolling
Was obvious. Needs to be rested for City game.Tweet

Hmm, i wonder if jose is going Darmian to RB, Blind to LB, Bailly Tuanzebe CB pairing?Tweet

Very good point. I just hope if he plays, he does a wes brown/oshea job and scores a nice own goal. It's unlikely but if that scenario has happened then I would expect Dyche to play him. He's their best defender and will want to play as well as he can to impress Jose.
Exactly. That's why it's strange that you'd prefer a worse cb, fullback and footballer in general to Blind. They're quite good at home tho.
Darmian - Bailly - Blind - ShawHmm, i wonder if jose is going Darmian to RB, Blind to LB, Bailly Tuanzebe CB pairing?
I hope not, I'd rather keep Rashford fresh for the City gameI think it's Lingard-Rashford-Rooney.
I think Bailly will also be rested. Was obvious. Needs to be rested for City game.

Kind of feel the same, but we're struggling for goals, can't afford to drop points and his fatigue levels are not similar to, say Zlatan.I hope not, I'd rather keep Rashford fresh for the City game

Probably something like:
De Gea
Valencia (c) Bailly Blind Darmian
Fellaini Herrera Pogba
Lingard Rashford Mkhitaryan
And i would rather keep rooney on the bench.I hope not, I'd rather keep Rashford fresh for the City game
Didn't Jose say he was happy with Shaw but mentioned something about leg cramps? I thought Shaw would be a bench option.I think it will be Darmian - Bailly - Blind - Shaw and then Valencia - Bailly - Blind - Darmian for city.
Defensively he's better imo. Blind at CB can be all over the place sometimes. Also, Blind being a better fullback, I'd say they're on par.Exactly. That's why it's strange that you'd prefer a worse cb, fullback and footballer in general to Blind.
What qualities does Darmian have that you think he would be better in defense than Blind?
Anthony Taylor
