Pedro's had a fantastic season and would easily fit in Utd's team.Very happy that he joined them and not us. Especially for that price. Similar kind of happy like the Pedro situation last season

I meant (highlighted) style of play. Nothing to do with SilvaThat has nothing to do with them being attacking or defending, as Jose will definitely bring attacking players as well.
It looks incredibly likely that we'll sign a much better attacker in Griezmann. We'll be just fine like. We'll be forever trying to close the gap with City now. We've been run like a shambles for years whilst City just sign top quality players.
Won 2 cups and got back into the CL and we are a shambles. Behave ffsWe'll be forever trying to close the gap with City now. We've been run like a shambles for years whilst City just sign top quality players.
Griezmann is one of the World's best players, but you're kidding yourself if you think even he alone is enough to sort out the shambles that is our attack. Players like Silva don't come around too often, no-one in our squad has the composure he possesses. It looks incredibly likely that we'll sign a much better attacker in Griezmann. We'll be just fine like.
So what are you saying? That FFP was specifically brought in to stop City joining the elite clubs?City seemingly have no problem spending loads of money every summer. That FFP has turned out to be a real success.
I didn't say he alone would sort it though but as starts go it can't get any better really.Griezmann is one of the World's best players, but you're kidding yourself if you think even he is enough to sort out the shambles that is our attack.
Well said.So what are you saying? That FFP was specifically brought in to stop City joining the elite clubs?
The irony of a Chelsea fan of all people crying about City's spending never fails to amuse me and you're the biggest culprit of the lot by far with your sanctimonious bile and complete and utter lack of self-awareness. Keep sucking on them lemons mate
Well, in portugal is seen like the future top player of our national team in par with gelson martins and renato sanchez. And technichally he is better than anyone of the others. (but not has fast has them and not so powerfull has sanchez)You're not suggesting he's anywhere near Ronaldo, are you?
Ronnie was 19 as well with enormous potential. I'm not sure Silva will go to another level
Adama Traore
He was a target, but probably as a second or third option. Maybe he was second option behind Griezmann or some other winger, but City made a move faster and got him while we are chasing the more important target for Jose. Otherwise Jose could have just said we arent interested in him and have other players we want. He left the door open, even though with pessimistic or no hope to get him.Jose after wining the final

Jose on Silva

Again, was never a target. We got sucked in by Canal+
Gentlemen may I present to you.. a meltdown. He's shite, a total waste of space and just proves that we're going after the wrong people. We should be going after Barbosa, Brandt and Guedes. Oh wait, City are going to get him...
*initiate Muppet Protocol #2*
What the hell is Mourinho thinking? We should be going all out for this guy. Now City are going to walk the league and we'll be stuck with some crap like Valencia or Martial.
Yeah we have been playing second fiddle since hazard transfer to chelsea, as bitter as it sounds its true. Why would you let others take the lead when that other player can improve you and then we have seen what has happened to us since then.Jose gives. If he didn't put Silva on his priority targets list then he wasn't very keen on him.
We won't prevent the opponents from getting great players. That's not one team league.
Yea, I agree. Not many players available apart from Griezmann on Silva's level though, is all. Guess all we can do is trust Jose.I didn't say he alone would sort it though but as starts go it can't get any better really.
I think he does improve City. He's better than Sterling. As usual the reaction on here ranges between two extremes!
Looks a great player but does he improve City? Where will he fit? Their problems this year have been at DM, the back 4 and the GK. Happy for them to spend another £50m on another tippy tappy ten
Expect more good players to go to City this summer though. Its an arms race!
I agree. The only player I'd be upset with us not getting is Griezmann, for everything else there'sThe reaction of people here, they might as well have signed Messi.
Until and unless Pep signs a class defense (yes, a whole one), not worried one bit about them.
If the manager doesn't want him, the manager doesn't want him. He wouldn't improve us unless Mourinho has specifically targeted him.Yeah we have been playing second fiddle since hazard transfer to chelsea, as bitter as it sounds its true. Why would you let others take the lead when that other player can improve you.
So around 60m? Good price in today's market.Tweet

Mohamed Bouhafsi: Bernardo Silva signs for Manchester City. €70m, 5 year deal
Gentlemen may I present to you... someone trying to have a laughGentlemen may I present to you.. a meltdown.
Nolito is just about gone. Aguero leaving rumours seem to be persistent, and Silva will be 32 in the coming season. A good buy for them. They have G. Jesus, Aguero, Sterling, Sane, De Bruyne, Silva and Nolito. They should be investing that money in their back 5. Weird...
Yes, we should definitley consider implementing City's revolutionary "get knocked out every cup competition early so we have more time to finalise transfers come May" strategy next season. This shows we need to move fast or else we will be left behind.
Feck no, if we lose out on Griezmann we're looking at a disaster now. Absolutely no chance we can let him off the hook now. Our attack is fecking shite and one of a very small sample of top available players is already off to our rivals.I wonder if the same people who are crying over this will say buying Griezmann for 100 mil would be too expensive. Wouldn't surprise me.
Not a winger though is he? I would have thought he is competing with De Bruyne and David Silva for a spot. Not Sane and Sterling. Also consider they may play both Aguero and Jesus next year.I think he does improve City. He's better than Sterling.
