For once a good article from Delaney. I agree with most of it. We need to give Jose what he wants. And if that means no muppet signing then so be it. This is a very important window for us
Agreed. Most bashing the article thanks to the headlines, and most prob didnt actually bother reading it. He is a very good article writer, if he stuck to that rather than transfer stories - he'd be far better off.

This is why i hate Real...greedy fckers!
Of course, mid way through negotiations, they broke off to tell a Sky reporter, that they still want £70m+. Especially as the meeting only started about 2 hours ago (that's when all these tweete came out that Morata's agent is meeting at15:30 BST).

For me Martial is the key to how great we can really become. I'm willing to bet last season's disappointment was a fluke.
Not so sure, Martial has been off his game since the end of last season. He was terrible in the limited amount of time he got at the Euros. Hope I am wrong, but he is more likely to be the next Januzaj or Depay.

We should pull out. Real are being completely unreasonable.
Maybe they are. I wonder what could be the reason hmmm. Maybe that embarrassment of a certain keeper transfer a few years ago has to do with this behaviour. :)

Fans and Journalists are in shock as horrific details emerged about a Football club manager doing the job he's supposed to do. Journalists expressed anger and disgust at this revelation.

These things are always exaggerated. Like when Martial supposedly cost £60m but about £15m of that was dependent on him winning balon d'or

I imagine it'd be the same for Morata, assuming it goes through, probably only about £30m up front, then installments and bonuses

And Pogba would cost us £120 M. at one time too. That's why I never get work up about the amount ITK throwing around anymore.

I can't wait for us to be at a similar level and never have to deal with them again. This is one of the reasons I want us to bite the bullet this window, buy the best players we can and stop being at the mercies of clubs like these.
Unfortunately , most of the top players still favors them and hence there will be an demand for their benchers all the time. Regarding us, we need to find better youngsters (like G. Jesus) if we don't want to get into this situation.

For that kind of money, I fail to see why we wouldn't look elsewhere. Might not be the same position, but for 70 million euros, you bet your ass you'd get a Dembele or a Pulisic+ someone else, easily.

If it's pounds, might as well get Kane.
No thanks. Move on. Fees are ridiculous everywhere but that's scandalous.

Belotti will cost £87m.

Why should they care about us when we fecked them with De Gea two years ago? They are free to screw us over for every penny they feel they can squeeze out of our desperate asses.
Sorry, but we did give them a fair valuation of De Gea, one of the best keepers in the world.
It was Madrid who didn't budge until the last day and then someone's fax machine didn't function.
We didn't screw them over De Gea deal.
I don't think they ever really wanted him. Just wanted to show to their fans that they really tried but it didn't work out.
But their valuation of Morata is way beyond even the inflated market rates today.

Thought I was the only one who bothered to read the article properly. It's not linking us with specific players but about Mourinhos efficiency in his 2nd season at a club and how he gets it right mostly

WAs about to do the same thing. Lol!

MArtial did way more than Memphis and performed well against various opponents not just Brugge. First season he was excellent. Second he was inconsistent but still has flashes of brilliance.
