Think we are in a strong position for Morata and position will get stronger if Chelsea close a deal for an attacker in coming weeks. Morata won't stay at RM for 14 appearances again, Madrid need to raise cash for Mbappe, the market for Morata above 60m pounds isn't strong, especially if Chelsea act.

I think Woodward will get the deal done at a reasonable price - ie not much more than 60m £. I'm sure Real want Mbappe before deadline day too.

No reason we can't be chasing our other targets if this one needs a little time

Boring, isn't it? We're bringing good players to the club every window and still people persist with this nonsense that we're useless in the transfer market.
Yep. We had a messy summer in 2013 and that's about it.

Can someone please educate me on why Alex Sandro can be at more than 50m+ and Darmian at only 18m. What's the length of the contract Alex is on... thought Darmian is on a multiyear contract as well? Darmian is pretty crap but can't be a 30m difference in valuation?

Kinda surprised that Chelsea haven't signed Lukaku yet - it does look like they aren't very sure about buying him or not. Wonder if they were waiting on Conte's contract first.

The Monaco Grand Prix
A few weeks ago, after the end of the season, Jose Mourinho went to the Monaco Grand Prix.

Well, sort of. The Special One attended the qualifying rounds, but the Man United boss didn’t attend the main event.

And who else was the race? Yep, you guessed it: Lewandowski.

To where? In Epl It Would be a disgrace to united if he chose city.
Not really. In fact, a stronger argument can be made for him to join City. He once worked with Pep Guardiola and Txiki Begiristain.

Also, one gets the feeling that Wenger may not particularly encourage any move to Jose's United.

Interest from Everton, not us.
Possibly to reassure Inter fans about their club’s decision to reject an €18m bid from Everton for Marcelo Brozovic, Gazzetta say that José Mourinho is also interested in the Croatian midfielder.

The last time #EpicBrozo, as he’s known, was linked with a move to Old Trafford was back in April by Tuttosport, who said the Special One ‘wasn’t scared’ of the player’s €50m release clause.

Epic? WTF is epic about that guy?

No!
