seamus coleman's possession stats are going to rise exponentially next season
Yeah, kinda gets it right. Definitely a strange feeling but a right thing to do.They're not contradictory though. Someone on twitter puts it very correctly

That's worse for us than Everton.
fecking part-timer!No I'm not an elite sportsman of any kind.
I'm a normal bloke who works hard for 4.5 days a week and makes up for it on the other 2.5.
And would you be happy/proud if he put in some decent performances for Everton? Its not sad for me, im relieved and happy! Hes finally gone!
Yeah but you know when we let our players go they always scored against us. Even welbeck who couldn't hit the insides of a whale after being swallowed by it scored against us each time he played against us.That's worse for us than Everton.
I work hard for my money.fecking part-timer!
I dont care what he does now, just like most Ex-United playersAnd would you be happy/proud if he put in some decent performances for Everton?
it was a joke mate!I work hard for my money.
Same, I don't really get this overly emotional stuff - maybe a slight pang of nostalgia but that's mainly linked to realising how old I am and how quickly time passes.I dont care what he does now, just like most Ex-United players
I know. so was my reply really. I was playing along. I thought that the reply fecking part timer deserved to be met with indignation.it was a joke mate!
Alright.I dont care what he does now, just like most Ex-United players
Ah i getcha...hard to gauge humour sometimes on the internet!I know. so was my reply really. I was playing along. I thought that the reply fecking part timer deserved to be met with indignation.
I wouldn't even say I was happy. He's just become so marginal that it feels like the goodbye has already happened. Hopefully distance will make the heart grow fonder and I can remember the good times, but there's a lot of other nonsense that I'd like to forget that happened in the past 4 or 5 years too.Its not sad for me, im relieved and happy! Hes finally gone!
Absolute nonsense, everyone is entitled to feel how they like about our players, he was a great player but I've never really liked him and I feel the same about Giggs too.United fans who mock him, just think they're too "cool" to like him.
He is a club legend. Definitely time for pastures new.
I've supported united since the 70's and confer "legend" status on very few players. No white text? Surely baiting, but I'll snag.
The only conceivable reason to think such a thing is if you started following United after Sir Alex retired or you are biased by not liking him for his transfer requests.
He is a club legend. There is no opinion about it. It's indisputable fact considering he is the Clubs all-time goal scorer, not even considering the mountain of success we had as a team with him at the core.
Great post mate.Right time for him to leave. Although his form over that last few seasons maybe didn't justify his position here at times, he still really deserved to be our all time top scorer. Delighted he got there.
Only felt real watching him pull into Everton's training ground - it still caught me a little to think this fella is actually leaving us
Thanks for the memories Roo. Brilliant servant to the club overall. Legend by all accounts. Hope you have fun and find form back at Everton
Yep. Especially when the humour is mock indignation. IRL it is hard to tell from the real thing.Ah i getcha...hard to gauge humour sometimes on the internet!
Someone really ought to invent some little pictures or something that we could add to our statements to help in situations like this!
I talked about the fans who mock him. Yea liking and disliking a player is different but to say, "glad he's going", "good riddance"...etc etc is mocking his achievements at the club. Why can't fans just be graceful when a player leaves? Hell, if a player leaves and he mocks United, every single fan would be up in arms...& rightfully too.Absolute nonsense, everyone is entitled to feel how they like about our players, he was a great player but I've never really liked him and I feel the same about Giggs too.
No it wouldn't. That is just not funny.Be funny if he failed his medical eh?
Can imagine the meltdown on here.Be funny if he failed his medical eh?
