Will be a great stopgap until Griezmann joins next summer.

Bonucci at 40 Million - anyone interested ??
Seems that he doesn't want to leave Italy. There have been a dispute with Allegri during the CL final break, because Bonucci said Juve played to defensively.
If that's true and he want's to stay, Milan is a relastic option. They want to get back to top.
Bonucci + Belotti/Aubameyang and they have a briliant squad.

Wish he'd actually name the targets we were after. Although not name checking the usual suspects indicates to me we might be in for players we haven't previously been linked with. Also, would love to have Zlatan for the second part of the season, his personality and attitude would be brilliant to have around and great for helping new signings feel welcome.

To play Bonucci I would put him in first and work about who plays with him after.
Im sure Lindelof and Bailly would be thrilled. Suspect Lindelof wasnt told he would be signed to sit on the bench.

I suspect he wasn't told he would be an absolute starter being 22 and coming from Benfica.

Belotti should be our #1 target. Don't know why the club haven't triggered his release clause yet. Our preseason starts in just a few days and we have only Batshuayi on our roster as a forward.
I'm not sure about him tbh. Have you watched him play last season (not judging if you haven't). I was a lot more excited about his numbers before actually watching all of his goals and his performances throughout games. Almost all of his goals are tap ins. He's a pure poacher atm. Not really much like Costa. He's shockingly good with his head considering his height but don't expect to see him dribbling past anyone, he'd be relying on great service. If you sign him you'd want to be starting Fabregas every game which might not suit your system. If I was a Chelsea fan I'd have wanted Lukaku but my 2nd choice would definitely be Morata.

To me this makes complete sense. I’d love to have Ibrahimovic around the club for another year, even if he only plays for half of it. I’d still rate him to get into double figures if he came back for us in January.
Would be great to see him there or thereabouts when we are deep into Champions League or even while fighting for the League title in the end.
Amazing to have him in the dressing room during that time or even now (unofficially).

It's interesting he mentions we are after a full back and a winger/10. If it's true then you have to wonder whether there's any logic to the Perisic as full back rumors that have been floating around. Because we haven't really been linked with any full back seriously ( apart from perhaps Mendy who seems City bound). Perisic is not someone who can play as a no.10 so he doesn't seem to fit that profile. In all honesty this can play as a winger or no.10 sounds like Griezmann or someone of that ilk. But then again this is all assuming Castles is not talking BS and does indeed have some actual info.

Surely City will enter the season as heavy favorites with the bookies, right? If they don't win the title with that squad they're assembling, feck me!
Utd are favourites right now. City 2nd. Personally I'm not convinced their defensive signings will make any difference. They'll still be leaking goals constantly. They have to buy another rb after Walker too since they have no backup right now.

Some of the comments here are amusing. City are genuinely strengthening their squad with quality and it either has to be sheer delusion, naivety, jealousy or blind bias not to see this. They should strengthen their squad and so should we, and our focus should be that come June, we finish the campaign far better than our rivals.

Ochoa is an enigma. Looks amazing at every major tournament, had a huge reputation as a kid (thanks FM), but never even got close to a move to a big club.

Liege is about his Standard.
He makes a lot of silly mistakes if you watch him regularly in La Liga, very inconsistent goalkeeper
