Remember Mourinho doesn't really give a feck about talent or potential if he prefers another player. As far as Martial is concerned, his game time would be severely reduced if Perisic arrives. Unless Perisic or Mkhitaryan flop, and Lukaku gets injured or something.

Dunno what point you're trying to prove with the Azpilicueta/Luis comparison, but Azpilicueta is 4 years younger than Luis. How Luis performed in Athletico's system means little if Azpili was the better one for Mou's system. If anything it's telling that he uses the better player for the position irrespective of age.

Also looking like he was never on their list until we got Lukaku so there's a good likelihood he's far from Contes ideal striker. Putting numbers to it, looks like a 45-55 good vs flop transfer.
