Will Sturridge come back, or will Klopp solely use Origi? What say you, scousers?
Play Origi. Sturridge has/should have no future here, and we should be looking to unload ASAP.

Yeah. Personally, I will really miss seeing Mata :( . Liverpool still have Coutinho who is coming back into form and City have De Bruyne and Sane. Hope Pogba is up for it.

Liverpool will have a desperately depleted squad for the Stoke Game. No Mane and it looks like no Coutinho (still not recovered from virus) The refusal to sign anybody during the transfer window is now coming to haunt Klopp We either take a chance with Sturridge or play some of the kids. Maybe time to give Grujic a go. He is big so shouldn't be bullied by Stoke who I am sure will kick lumps out of anything that moves especially if its aged under 19

Safe to say he's becoming one of the best wingers in the PL? Clearly better now than the Mane we saw at Southampton.

He's looked no different whatsoever in the last three years. It's how he's (lazily) perceived that's slowly changing. Personally we need the laziness in thought to continue for a few more years.

Why Jose didn't go for him still annoys me as he was obviously a very good winger. Mané tore his Chelsea side apart a few times playing for Southampton. We easily could have went for Mané and Mkhitaryan in that same window.

Anyone who looked at his underlying numbers would tell you he was the type of player just waiting to burst out and have a breakout year.

I had doubts over whether he could be consistently excellence. Was wrong. We missed the trick with this one.

He's transformed into a completely different player than I was expecting. I saw him a bit at Salzburg where, on the left, he was pretty much an out and out winger who, for me, looked like a speed merchant with decent dribbling. I always had Kampl as the higher talent. I don't know if anyone else watched him at Salzburg and would like to correct me on this but this was how I always saw him.

Even at Southampton I could notice he'd changed a bit. Was coming in central more, becoming more of a goal threat, just improving on absolutely everything. And he's taken it to another level at Liverpool.

Isn't Mane more important than Coutinho at Liverpool? He's much better suited to their counter attacking style and the PLs to and fro nature.

In few years now RB lizpig's newly acquired winger could be the same as mane.

Well they'll surely have to replace Robben and Ribery at some point - hopefully Mane has an agent that will stop him from agreeing renewals for too long like Coutinho did and now finds himself stuck there when a better club wants him.

He was always way more talented than Kampl. Watched him quite a lot at Salzburg. Only question mark was his attitude. But he was always very very good. Said so much when he was about to leave Southampton. So annoying Pool got him

I'm pretty sure LVG was keen on him but he got sacked.
He got sacked, but we ignored his input that's what i meant. This is the loop hole where it comes to listening only to managers in themarket like we do.

Wish we had signed him when we were linked. People laughed because they are snobs and couldn't possibly believe an attacker from Southampton would have improved us. This potential was always there.

Who laughed? Go back to his transfer thread. Most of the Caf wanted us to buy him. Not sure where this new myth is coming from that the Caf was against signing Mane, but it's total bollocks.

I remember a significant portion of fans were against it when we were first linked after missing out on Pedro.
