Wenger should walk and tell everyone what the feck is going on behind the scenes in the board room, because for a team like arsenal to have no money its ridiculous, Korenke is destroying the club with no plan for growth, its not even close to the Glazer situation back in the day, they had a plan to massively monetize us.

Its becoming clear how Wenger resisted the #WengerOut campaign.

I'm sure part of the negotiations for him to stay was to deliver this restructuring and clear out, the board knowing it would create even bigger outrage from fans.

When will fans realise that Wenger is complicit in all this?

Great point. Reminds me of the later days under Ferguson and then Moyes when the owners just wouldn't spend a penny. Except, of course under Fergie United could still play.

I think he thought he could persuade Sanchez to stay and his demands were hot air. It backfired and the market played itself our hilariously.

Ffs, does the cnut have no balls? Tell Sanchez that he can move, but only to a foreign league. If Sanchez refuses, take a stand for once and refuse to sell him. But we all know that he is a spinless coward and Sanchez will end up at City. The only noteworthy thing Arsebal have done in the last decade is selling us RVP.

If this Lemar/Sanchez debacle is true then you've got to question Arsenal's approach to this transfer business thing.

They've had a full summer to sort out Sanchez. £90 million for Lemar? Bloody hell. If I were an Arsenal supporter I'd be exasperated.

I'm sure Wenger is 100% against the idea of selling Sanchez to City or Ox to Liverpool, I don't think he has a choice in the matter though. Have to wonder how much power he has at the club right now, does he even have the authority to sanction or block a move? Not so sure he does anymore. Strangely run club are Arsenal.

FA Cup wins only ever mask deep routed problems. See: Portsmouth and Wigan.

Why is this happening now on the last day of the window? If we knew Ozil, Sanchez and Ozil weren't going to sign new deals, then they should have been sold at the start of July. Then we would have had time to buy the right replacements and work them into the squad in a sensible manner. I hate how transfers with the club are just an absolute farce.

It's strange given he has been at the club for so long. You'd assume he has a say in all of this, but looks like he doesn't. But he has to realise that the fans will be all over him if Sanchez leads City to a title.

Reading through Arsenal Mania is giving me PTSD flashbacks to the Moyes era.

Mourinho was right when he said Pogba would look a bargain in a few years times. A year later....

 It never was Wenger vs Kroenke or a board, only deluded Wenger defenders among Arsenal would say such a nonsense. Media isnt anything better, all those line like "he cant live without football" or "he loves Arsenal so much,so he cant quit" etc. no one asking question why on earth he is paid so much, why he got pay rise of 2 mil. per year. Everything is over inflated for that skeleton, transfer market, player but never his contract.

The selection of Sanchez and Chamberlain against Liverpool and the forthcoming substations and departure was definitely a sign of discontent from Wenger to those player and vice versa. Perhaps the result was flattering to Liverpool and now those players are gone, Wenger will look at players who are mentally ready to perform for him. Arsenal needs to focus on better organizing their team and getting a good sporting director in there. Paying around £92m for Lemar shows how desperate they are. One player will not fix their problems when they need two or three more to look like a solid team.

They need sacking their manager.

Despite all the gloom and doom, if they keep Sanchez and Wenger regularly starts Lacazette and Kolasinac in their proper positions, they aren't too far off from challenging for their beloved 4th spot as usual. Or getting UCL through Europa, doable.

July: Arsenal reject £10m for Kieran Gibbs & decide £52m is too much for Lemar.

August: Arsenal accept £7m for Gibbs & bid £92m for Lemar.

The worst thing for them is that going in for Lemar was only done in response to the possibility that Sanchez might be going. It looks like the club was never serious about adding anyone after Lacazette was signed.

They've neglected their need for a CB and replaced Gabriel with Chambers, and they've neglected the need for a creative midfield player to replace Cazorla.

They'll probably lose Sanchez and Ozil for free now next summer meaning that they won't get any money in from sales to use on big transfers. Wenger will still be there so they will be relying on him to find some untapped talents, which he hasn't really done in a while.

Interesting season or two coming up for them. They might be ok if they get back into the top four.

Couldn't get an average player in AOC to stay for vastly more money than he got at Liverpool/Chelsea.

Lemar, a lad playing the French league, rejects the chance to join them.

Alexis has to stay despite clearly not giving a flying feck. Would never get dropped from his national squad so has no requirement to play his best stuff.
