Rooney getting the red card against Portugal in WC 2006. Didn't even know who he was or what team he played for.

Probably World Cup 90, probably group stage, a Brazil match. Don't remember much more than seeing the players on the pitch.

It's from the 85/86 season. A 3-2 win for Liverpool away to Watford. I'm guessing it must've been a live game for me to remember it.

Particularly remember the flowing locks of Paul Walsh as he celebrated after he nutmegged the keeper on 1 of his goals.

World Cup 2002 was the first time i watch football and love it.

my best memory in WC 2002 was Miroslav Klose scored five times and all of them by heading, the sensational Olie Kahn and Rustu Recber, and worst match i've ever seen, Korea vs Italy.

Milk Cup 4th round in 1983 - United vs Oxford. Ended in a 1-1 draw.

Norman Whiteside is my main memory from the game and remains one of my favourite United players.

Liverpool winning the UEFA 1976 or the big one in Rome in 77. I can never remember which one. Winning the big one again in 78 is very clear to me.

That was a Sunday game . We wore all white. I think it was 3 - 1 though.

Must be the Denmark vs. USSR 1985 WC qualifier.

WTF?

Did you see that at 4:15?

The Danish keeper handles the ball outside the box, prevents a certain goal with a definite sending off (these days anyway) and everyone just gets up and plays on. . . Ball goes down the pitch for them to score.

Could get away with anything in the 80s.

Earliest memory is England 1998. I remember it coming up to half time and thinking I will ride my bike round to my friends house now so I can sit down and watch second half with him. Only for Argentina to score in first half stoppage time and me getting to his house all disappointed :(

Everything from then on is a complete blank up until when Lukaku scores against Newcastle an hour ago

Thinking of it, I was only 7 years old, what was my mum thinking of letting me ride half way across town on my bike at that age

The thing that got me was the tackle before that, would have most likely ended in a red card... Hiw the game has changed.

94 FA Cup final - Giggs slipping it through and Irwin being upended for the penalty that opened the scoring. I was 8 and I can remember it vividly as if it were yesterday!

I have vague recollections of watching football before that but nothing specific. The rest of that summer though is full of them - Ray Houghton against Italy, Baggio against everyone, that penalty in the final. A seminal summer of football for me!

The clearer memory has to be France-Spain in 1998 but I also have a vague memory of Dortmund-Juventus, I used to love Dortmund but they weren't playing in red and it was my favorite color.

I remember John Wark sticker playing for Ipswich.

Just better times.

98 final I was somewhere in cape cod with my cousin and I remember watching the final in some basement before running down the bluffs and getting yelled at by some coast guard officer because they were protected territory haha

1983 FA cup final. My mate was trying to get me into football and he was a Liverpool fan. My Mum was horrified, told me about my Great Uncle playing for United and made me watch. The rest as they say is history!

Cantona kicking the Palace fan. I remember it being on the news.

I probably remember earlier things like the World Cup in 1994 and bits of our season in 1993/94 and 1994/95 but I can't tell if I remember them because I've watched so much and read so much as I've gotten older or whether it's an actual memory. Cantona on the news is vivid.

Some time in the early 85/86 season. Watched the daily sports coverage on Swedish TV with my dad... They mentioned the results from the English league and the top teams place in the table. I thought Manchester was a funny name cause there's pants called just that. That day I decided to cheer for that team...

Luckily it was United
