"When David Moyes leaves West Ham, he should take up a managing role in the Championship or even League 1 where he can get some valuable experience and earn his stripes and get himself prepared for the big job. I still believe the best thing to do is to go out and trust yourself to win a few games wherever you go."

Good guy Rooney actually did Moyes a favor with that goal. Now the media will be all over the wonder strike while old Sourface can queitly slink back into the shadow and do his evil work.

One of the greatest goals in Premier League history? Don't think that's even the best Rooney goal I've seen.
It's not even top ten Rooney goal. It's good technique to catch it first time but it's an open goal.

Off the top of my head, the goals against City, Newcastle, AC Milan, Portsmouth, Boro (x2 in the Cup), Bolton, Arsenal (for Everton), Arsenal (2010), Hull, West Ham (2014) and Stoke (2016) are all better goals than that. There are probably several more.

Why can't our scouts identify players like Mane and Salah? It's infuriating.

Not sure West Ham fans will let that happen, there are a lot of them in the media.

Erm we wanted Mane the season before he went to Liverpool. Koeman and co refused to sell and I guess one of the reasons was he didn’t want to sell to Van Gaal.

Dig up stupid!
Fantastic from Rooney but when will this country finally give up on Joe Hart? He's been a shower for years and costs his team almost every game, I don't even think I'm exaggerating there it's every game he's making dreadful errors. If he goes to the world Cup we'll regret it

Big Sam clapping at the sight of Rooney like the fat kid from Charlie and the chocolate factory in front of a patisserie.
