Wonder what that was between Pep and Redmond. Redmond seemed to be smiling at him, unsure whether Pep was giving him some stern motivation or calling him a fecking cnut.

Shambolic defending in the last 30 seconds, they knew this was likely to happen and they done absolutely nothing to stop it. Leaving Sterling as free as a bird is suicide.

Not sure what luck has to do with the win, it was an excellent curler by t-rex

The shane long substitution killed it for southampton. He forced city to keep otamendi back, as soon as he goes otamendi steps up creating an extra man that city eventually take advantage off as southampton have no out ball. Stupid decision from pelligrino.

It's not luck, and it's not corruption but feck them nonetheless. All we can do is play them ourselves, and if we lose that then we can't complain.

Only positive is that they do look beatable, someone needs to beat them though. Once the aura of invincibility drops everything will change, but almost every team that plays them now has lost before they step on the pitch.

Listen to you all. Losing your shit because of a last minute goal. It's November and the season runs until May.

'Hand them the title now', 'The title's theirs!'

No, it's not ffs. They scraped a win at home to southampton, wooptydoo.

Horrendous defending by Southampton on that goal. Literally threw my phone after City scored the winner and the screen is now broken. Feck off Sterling

We've watched United do the exact same thing for over 2 decades of Premier League football. It's an absolute cnut when your opponents does it, but it's what happens to every team that wins the league.

Not saying they've won it btw. But obviously favourites at the moment.

Dig up stupid!
We all expected them to win before hand so although the manner is annoying nothing has changed really.

For all the jizz that gets thrown at them they have looked more vulnerable of late.

The key game is still the Derby that we simply must win

You're the kind of guy who in March will be saying, it's only a 15 point gap, there's still time.

They've been smashing teams, but this sort of win is a lot more what titles are made of.
If you're not even the slightest bit worried by a 96th min win when they haven't played great, you're in a huge minority.

If we don't win our next 2 games, we could find ourselves between 10-12 points off.

It's the fact that they've won 13 of their 14 games this season without a loss that's killing us, not that they beat Southampton.

Ok but give me a reason why 5 mins? And the goal scored on 95:4. They such a lucky team, and I have to say from what happened in their latest 2 games they very much will win it. Hope we can beat them and make some efforts.

Need to win at home. As simple as that.

They'll slip up, we need to make sure we don't.

They are playing unbelievable but talk about run of the green this season. Where did 5 minutes stoppage time come from?!?

Just give them the title because the hope of catching and despair when they do that is just horrible.

It's the hope that kills. Everyone expected a drubbing. Everyone thought they'd cruise it at 1-0.

Then an equaliser! Fairly late.
But we all knew.

Just not that late

Consistently scoring crucial late goals to win matches wasn't luck when we used to do it and it isn't luck now they are. In fact, the way they patiently played the ball around in front of the Saints defence, looking for and exploiting the gaps when they came was very familiar looking to anyone who enjoyed Fergie's era United.

Compare that to the way we hoof the ball up in desperation when we've looked for crucial late goals over the past few years - reminiscent of Charlton era Ireland, and it's not difficult to see why they're turning more draws into wins than we are.

Be an interesting weekend. Surely United have to go for a win at the Emirates?

Could make it a very exciting game.

I think the luck is the amount of time being added itself. Crazy.
