but but Pep can't do it in the EPl. Jusy LOL at people that still prefer Mou. Give Mou 1 billion to spend and he will still sit back and counter. We should have done all we could to get Pep.

At least, some United fans would shut up about not having a go at this City team last weekend. We have seen teams who went full throttle against them get humiliated completely.

Man City 5-0 Liverpool
Man City 4-1 Spurs
Man City 3-1 Arsenal

I'd just like to point out that Spurs' goal came from an Ederson clearance.

Shocking distribution.

Can Kane and Alli get retrospective punishment?

Horrendous challenges. Leg breakers. I cringed watching Alli's tackle.
We can make that happen on Twitter for the buffoons at the FA to pay some attention to the incidents but what good would that do us?

We are not facing Spurs anytime soon and they aren’t even challenging for the title this season no matter what Skysports pundits say.

Cue another 20 City threads after this game. Home page looks like a City forum. Yeah so they've won again, wow! Who really gives a shit!
It's not the City threads that annoy me, it's the "why are we shit" threads that pop up every time City win 4-0 and we grind out a 1-0 win. Our fans are a disgrace sometimes.

Considering the fact they didn’t even score an open goal against us. I think we did well. The biggest surprise was allowing their squad of mostly midgets to score goals via setplays against us.
Mr. Romelu 'completely-off-form' Lukaku

Yeah that as well, but seriously the amount of City threads every time they take a piss is really getting beyond a joke! I think some fans on here are seriously on the verge of becoming a blue.

I have seen this before.
Pep takes this season in flying colours. Jose starts a war with him and City (he already started it after the derby), buys to make his team stronger and hits them back the following season, poking eyes, causing a storm etc. Pep gets all emotional and 'tired'. He goes on a sabbatical and moves to manage the next rich club.

De Bruyne speaking to the media (On Dele Alli's challenge that saw the Spurs player get a yellow card: "I am a split second before Dele and it happens, it's part of football."

Refreshing to see a comment like this and it should be understood by more fans, including myself, given the pace the game is played at. Sometimes challenges are mistimed and with all the replays it is often forgotten that they are mistimed by mere tenths/hundredths of a second and sometimes one player simply comes off worse - it's not necessarily always the other player deliberately intending to hurt the opponent.

Not denying it isn't a yellow/red card though - after all player safety comes first.

Of course but refs shouldn't look at that anyway. They cannot be criticized but they're terrible at their job.
They shouldn't really, but that's how it usually goes. It's just human nature to react like that.

Ref booked both the players so FA won't look at them. To do so would be undermining the ref. The rules states they can only hand out retro bans if the ref misses the incident/didn't see it. While he clearly didn't see the Kane one he dealt with it so it won't be looked at. Stupid rule but so is the diving one.

What was De Bruyne's celebration all about? Seemed like a pointed reference to 2-1 :(

That part of the rules definitely needs a change. It gives too much power to incompetent fools and it takes away any responsibility they might have.

Its crazy and needs change for certain, thats why when refs see and incident and deem it not worthy of any action they can get the ban afterwards simply by saying they missed it. A good example being Aguero's red for the elbow v West Ham last season, had the ref blown for a foul or given a yellow he would have been fine. The fact he allowed play to go on and didn't deem it worthy of anything allowed the FA to hand out the ban (of course he'd never admit that) but its clear thats how it played out. Not me crying about it or anything as it was a deserved red.

Refs should not only be allowed by should be encouraged to back over games via tv after matches to correct these decisions.

All those matches at the Etihad, we were at home and we had to win. There is a big big difference.

This Man City team seem to really believe their own hype. The way he celebrated that 21 it looks more like a reference to either the Derby, or the difference in points between them and Spurs. They also celebrated the derby win like they had won the CL.

Again, that's irrelevant. If they drew, both teams would drop points. How is that not a better outcome? Especially as the gap between us and Tottenham (7, with a game in hand for us) and City (11) will likely be very similar by the end of the matchday. There's literally no reason to want City to win. You thinking it's inevitable makes zero difference.
City are miles ahead. We're not getting near them. Them winning against Spurs who will be nearer to us is a better result.

Anyway, we have differing opinions on this.

 come on, as if de Bruyne was even aware a win would take us 21 points above Spurs. There's literally no question that it was to show support for Silva, with whatever personal issues it is that kept him out of the game.

Some just think it's too easy to go against them and win. Football isn't that simplistic.

We played the right way against them, but we had 2 mistakes, we were terrible on the counter due to Pogba's absence, and our defending in set pieces was terrible. We could have still got a draw if Lukaku scored his chance though.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Or if he didn't set up two for them

Looks clearly offside to me, by a good half yard.
You're blind then. If it is offside (I don't think it is), then it's at most by a few inches. Like 3 inches tops.

If you think it's half a yard, you're either bitter, wumming or blind. End of.

Yeah....
Like Chelsea & Napoli did??
Napoli is in the CL and they weren't that bad. Chelsea didn't even go for it. We lost 1-2 and yet people find some pride in that, fecking weird to me. Regardless of what Lukaku, we still lost and were nowhere near winning that game anyway.
The whole "we loss less than them" is a crazy concept to me because at the end of the day 0 point is still 0 point.

That's a very impressive character assessment. I'm definitely bitter, always on the WUM and ever so slightly blinded by my utter hatred of all things Manchester fecking City. Still, that said, offside is offside any way you measure it lad, whether that be half a yard or 3 inches.

City in a cruising mode. But in football there there is no sure bet. Next week games will be a determining factor, whether we can still catch City or not.

Lets forward a step at a time. First lets defeat WBA.
