Fill us in. All I remember is he asked me for help with some players but I couldn't see shit as I had no access to the newbies.

He deliberately assembled that dysfunctional front four and had an absolutely nobody of a keeper merely to prove the point that public voting only votes for shiny names and no one ever looks at the keeper. He kept getting votes throughout and never once bothered with the balance of the team.

I saw the draft progression :D .. he did not have the dysfunctional 4 right at the start, only from SF onward. He also won the final against a team which line up like this

so not a natural formation either.

Isotope should have won the semi against Brwned though.

Fair enough, it was really bad back then, so much pressure to pick reinforcements that didn't make any sense... I lost a final just because people disagreed with my choice of reinforcement. The other was a player I absolutely didn't need.

The goalie was my pick :smirk:
 
If you know you wont be around for a long time leave picks with other managers.

Have to say those were the two I mulled over as well. It's not like I would have just randomly picked him to screw you.

All in all with so many great attacking players I needed to secure some instant credibility at the back. Everything looks pretty now but quality is going to drop off a cliff after 7 rounds or so.

Awesome midfield though and a great draft theme for one.
 
Which seasons we use as cut off? 89/90 as first and 99/00 as last?

edit: nevermind for the first, went to check Maradona wiki so i see we are starting with 90/91.
