people on arsenal-mania calling him a dog fiddler is always hilarious to me

i think he just meant its the start of a new journey for him
Normally we use that phrase in Spanish when we have to redo a work we have done in the past or regain some sort of approval. Anyway Im just speculating here while I wait for the match its not big deal either way.

Hope he does well tonight. We won't hear the end of it otherwise...

I hope this work as I see the forum a little anxious at the lack of photos at the training ground

Let me know as soon as you hear from him!
Don't forget to mention we are top muppets.
They already knew who we were!! "We have been expecting you". I am expecting that they will let us be the slightly oversized mascots that lead him out of the tunnel on his first outing at OT. They had to phone up the local school and cancel the kids originally booked in to do it but hey its Alexis fecking Sanchez!!!

Listening to bitter Gooners, you'd think Alexis did nothing significant at Arsenal other than giving the ball away to the opposition and costing them games...

It feels so weird seeing him warm up with a United crest on his jacket. It also feels absolutely awesome.

Man, Alexis would be so thrilled if you ever do that.
that would be very nice and he would truly appreciate that I guess...if that doesn't work would be a nice detail if all Old Trafford attendants with masks of Atom or Humber hehehehe

All this talk about him coming for the money is absolute rubbish. If Alexis had gone to City, it should have been viewed as a weak move; going to a new team practically guaranteed a PL title. Instead he chose to fight for trophies knowing he'd have to make a significant contribution toward that effort.

He's here because we offered more money, let's be honest.
I've spent more time watching and trying to understand Chilean reports than I would like to admit the day after the transfer, and it's been more of a combination of being relieved, proud, flattered etc.

Relieved that he's moving to the "most important team in the world (according to Forbes)", proud that he's been given #7 shirt and the history behind it, flattered that it was SAF that walked out of Carrington to meet him and flattered with all social media. Of course money was reported but it was more along the lines of the rags to riches story. Or that its a Chilean that has become the PL's top earner when it was said South Americans couldn't make it here.

Going to City wouldn't have moved Chile in the same way and I can't imagine it's that much different for the guy at the center of it all who has more money than he knows what to do with.

Sanchez doing alright you can see the type of balls he wants to play already.Think he will play central when we have full team out. Think he will be worth the 1billion we paid for him.

What do you mean "except". The same is true at Manchester United.
I'm pretty sure the rotational players at Utd earn more than the ones at RM. The likes of Fellaini, Young, Lindelof would not get 100k+ there.

And City get players for free or cheap wages?

Come on now. This sudden head scratching from people about players opting to go to the better offer financially is genuinely bizarre. It's the norm. It's not only about a player wanting to go to X or Y team but also being offered good wage. It's always been that and will remain that way.

We've also lost players because we got a bit tight on money despite the possibility of them coming to us initially being high. Thats how it works.
City's best paid player is on far less than what Sanchez is on. I'm just saying, let's not pretend like he came here because we have more fans, or the better history, or the better chance at trophies. It's the money. He had a gentlemen's agreement with City and only changed his mind because we offered far more. So let's be honest about that.

Bitter? Wtf? I'm just being realistic.
You just seem to have a very low opinion of United. Very strange for a so-called United fan. I personally couldn't give a flying feck how much money he's on. Unlike you, I can see the appeal for playing for United, I just find your opinions on Sanchez weird.

I didn't think he played that well really, gave it away a lot, but love his attitude and clearly we all know what he is capable of.

No idea how he got MoM though over Herrera, Rojo or even Lingard.

On behalf of the caf - feck off. Gentlemen's agreement - how do you know that? Let me guess, media?

Lets be honest about the fact you're writing some absolute bollocks.

Where the grass is greener.
The lift he's going to give us in the second half of the season is massive, damn shame we're so far behind City, but I'd hope he can at least guide us further than many predict in the CL.
